Great little torch
Replaced a junk trigger start torch with this all-metal low-cost gem. It easily connected to propane hose (from broken trigger torch) and lit up quickly. Has nice blue flame that is perfect for sweating copper pipe. I did not connect to propane bottle. I would purchase again.

Very good torch for the money
Have used torch head many times now. It works well and heat output is very good. Flame adjustment is a little touchy so carefully adjust flame. Have used primarily for copper pipe and metal fabrication. Quality and durability are good, and torch functions as it should. It's a decent size flame and not intended for intricate or precise work. I would recommend this product.

Works well, haven't had issues, quality is okay
Okay I want to love the torch but the little metal collar used to adjust airflow to the flame is flimsy and mine warped. It's not the biggest issue, I tried to bring it back to true with pliers but didn't have any luck. Being wrapped makes the flame tip a little less clean and a little less defined. It lets too much air leak into the system but not so much that it makes a huge difference. It's easy to use but the dial is touchy; you think you have the flame just how you want it then let it go and it goes out or comes blasting out. You have to make sure you don't push or pull the knob as you adjust otherwise you run that risk. It's worth the price and looks nice. The flame can get pretty hot and has a good length to it when you open it up. I'd buy it again.

Best Cheap Torch for more intensive use.
Can work soft glass well. The adjustable air intake is very handy. Has lasted a year of heavy use no problems. Can’t beat the value.Stronger, wider flame than any other torch head I’ve tried under $40

FLAMETHROWER Holly Molly!
The media could not be loaded. Solid brass looks very healthy, not weak in any way. Highly adjustable flame hard to vary soft. I own 5 torches this by far will be the best. Only draw back is it dose not have a self starter, but big deal!! Whats the big deal the flame is. It heats fast. And If I were you Id also get an extension line with it perhaps for a BBQ tank too. Cant say enouph about the price and quality. Will see how it handles time... will tell. Get one!

works, and gets hot
It does put out some serious heat, even using LPG instead of MAPP. However, the on/off valve is extremely temperamental, making it dangerous, especially for beginners.

Basic but functional
What I really miss using this torch is the lack of a more sophisticated gas flow regulation. When you turn it sideways or upside down it starts to flow liquid propane which makes the flame significantly larger and harder to regulate. I knew it wasn't a Lenox or something when I bought it though.
