Great chair
Great chair. I'm a college student and I sit at my desk a lot. This chair is very comfortable, in fact I frequently catch my roommate using my chair because his is less comfortable. He has the amazing basics chair. Despite the other reviews, the bottom is plenty soft and had tons of cushion. You can't feel the bottom and I'm 240lbs. I bought this chair at staples, not amazon.

Worst Chair Ever
This chair was unfortunately gifted to me. It is clearly designed by an idiot or a highly intelligent sadist.Pros- It's a chair.Cons- This chair was not designed for the end user in mind. It is extremely uncomfortable brand new even. You can feel the boards through the low quality foam which quickly gets worse over time. I weigh just above 100 pounds. I had to use a pillow for cushioning.- After only a couple months of receiving this chair the paint started peeling/flaking all over. From what? I don't know, the air?- One day I sat down and the arm cushion fell off. Turns out that over time the ALAN bolts that secure the cushion from UNDERNEATH fell out. One bolt was already missing and with the other I couldn't catch the threads from the narrow channel is goes up into because one, it's a narrow space and you have to realign the alan wrench every half-turn since the arm support is in the way and two, it was stripped somehow.- The chair is poorly balanced as it feels like it's balancing as a wobble board.- While using the chair, every slightest shift in weight results in squeaking and a loud *THUNK* pinging everyone in the household . Adjusting the chair to it's highest mostly muffles it until your weight brings it back down to *THUNK* level. With no luck I tried taking it apart to see if there's something to tighten but it seemed an issue with the interior mechanisms/bearings.Overall the chair looks nice and it's cheap but I wouldn't advise anyone use it. Use a bar stool instead.

Good chair, not perfect and life span might be limited to a couple years at most depending on use.
Good chair, it does wear out tho, although I sit in mine a lot, and have actually slept in it a few times, when not feeling good, I’m about 5’6’’ 150lb for ref. But after a year the foam filling went fairly flat and at about a year and a half the bonded leather coating stuff started to peel, and it started to make some squeaky noises, I tried tightening thing so up but no luck. I like to sit in chairs before I buy them because, anything else is crazy, and it was the best chair at staples. And after a year and a half I went back to staples and took my time sitting in all the chairs and I bought it again. So there’s something to this chair. Here’s my new chair and the year and a half old one:

Very good chair, look for it on sale in store.
I bought this chair at staples after trying out all the office chairs they had in store and I nearly fell asleep in this one it felt so snug and supportive. I bought it during their back to school sale. 2nd wrk of august for $79.99 and I assembled it in my dorm room. Felt the same as in the store. Staples charges $15 to assemble and you just pick it up later, but I wouldn't have been able to get it back into my dorm room if it were assembled

Falls apart
Bought for my office at work. Used for about 4 months before Pandemic hit, worked from home for majority of 2020 up to February of 2021, the faux leather on the seat has split at the seams from the fabric underneath... looks awful! Definitely expected it to last longer than this.... very disappointed. Since this chair is no longer sold by staples, i figure they must know its garbage too!

Really good chair
I had to leave this review because the other one-star review is just bunk. I went to Staples to pick out a chair and sat in them all. This was the best one in the price range I was willing to pay. It was on sale at $99. I bought 4 for my parents. Now they have called me and asked if I can find 4 more for their other house because they love them so much. I bought all of the stock at the one Staples and the price has returned to the original amount so as soon as I see these go on sale again, I'm getting 4 more.

Faux leather disintegrates within 1 year
Had to leave this review because the first reviewer that gave it one star was spot-on. The faux leather disintegrates rapidly. My chair is flaking terribly (mostly from the part I don't even touch: upper headrest). To the reviewer that attempted to debunk the one-star review, you just purchased so you have no idea how they stand up to time. I assure you, they will disintegrate.
