Great Company! Great Product!
I had some issues with leaking at the adapter. Aquasana sent another adapter with instructions to use Teflon tape. Worked perfectly! I'm very happy with the filters performance and quality.

Tasty and safe water!
Love my faucet water now! I have health issues that require diligence in avoiding chemicals snd other toxins in water and foods. This affordable solution is amazing. I’ve had the Aquasana systems in 2 sinks in two different homes. Changing filters is simple. Avoid any leakage by having the filters installed in a standing position. It saves more room under your sink too.

FLOW STOPPED AFTER 3 WEEKS - DO NOT BUY!!!
This product was a complete fail for us and I don’t recommend it. I installed it under our kitchen sink on 15 Sept. and the flow started slowing after only two weeks. I just disconnected it today (6 Oct.) because the water stopped flowing completely. We are a family of four and didn’t use the kitchen for anything unusual like washing clothes. Just drinking, cooking and washing dishes that don’t go in the dishwasher. We have a split valve so the dishwasher doesn’t pull through the filter. This filter was advertised to last six months. I’m not going to buy a $90 replacement filter every 3-4 weeks! Buyer beware!!!

Excellent flow, great taste, right certifications
Purchased due to PFAS readings from our municipal water supply. The certifications were important to me and I didn't trust filters that supposedly last years. 6 months seems right, and while it's a new household expense, it seems worth it after installation. The parts & instructions were well made & written. Based on another helpful review, I purchased 3 inexpensive extra parts that eliminated the white piece that connects directly to the water supply line since it seemed to improve durability and ensure good flow. I hope they might upgrade their parts package to do this for future customers. The filter is long, and the best way to install under my sink was horizontal, which made it harder to reach the furthest screws, but not impossible, and now replacement is that much easier. Upon first test, heard the water try and make its way through but there was almost no flow. Long story short, something made its way to the faucet head, which once I cleaned it out, the flow seemed almost (90% or more) like pre-install. (Sigh of relief). I also had to reseat the connectors to the filter head housing to ensure no leaking. I put a small container underneath just to be sure, but it's been dry since day one. Water tastes very good, and it feels good to have done the best we can to improve the quality / health of our drinking water. Update: wanted to say that the 7 months that it was left in, the water flowed well and tasted good consistently. When the flow started to get noticeably slower, I was surprised at how easy it was to just change out the filter with no leaks. I did my best to shake the retained water out before disposing since it was kind of heavy. Don't forget to let it run for ~15 minutes after installing.

Problematic install, slower flow rate, but still well worth it
The tap water in our neighborhood is usually fine, but every so often, it gets a bout of a really unpleasant funky smell that lasts for several days. After dealing with one too many occurrences of it, the wife demanded we do something about it. I wanted something inline, under-sink, and compact due to space constraints. I also didn't want a huge drop in the water flow rate. I settled on this filter after researching various options and seeing it mentioned in The Wirecutter. INSTALLATION As some other reviewers mentioned, the plastic diverter part that screws into your water supply line is terrible. It is made of a very soft plastic and sure enough, I stripped the threads on it when trying to screw it into my water supply line. I ended up contacting customer support and they mailed me a replacement in a few days at no charge. Being extra careful to get it aligned properly, I was able to get the replacement one installed. The rest of the installation was as one could expect while working under a sink with a big garbage disposal and various pipes and hoses in the way. Now that it is installed, I'm happy with how little space it takes up in the back corner of the cabinet. I haven't had to replace the filter yet, but it seems like it will be very easy to when the time comes. FILTRATION I don't have any scientific instruments to measure contaminants, etc. However, I've had this installed for 3.5 months and I'm pleased to say the water has smelled and tasted perfect the entire time. WATER FLOW RATE As I was concerned about the drop in water pressure, I actually measured it before and after the installation of the filter. We have a Delta faucet with a high flow water mode (4353-AR-DST I think). I measured the flow rate by measuring the time it took to fill a one gallon jug and doing the math from there. Here are the results: Regular flow, no filter: 1.40 gpm High flow, no filter: 1.76 gpm Regular flow, with filter: 1.09 gpm High flow, with filter: 1.11 gpm As you can see, it's a noticeable drop. There is essentially no difference between the regular and high flow modes of the faucet now. However, it's really not so bad and we think it's definitely worth the trade off. It's slower, but still fast enough for filling pitchers, pots, etc. Remember, your hot water will still be at full pressure since the filter does not affect that. LOWER PRICE OPTION I wish I had noticed this before I bought the Aquasana, but there appears to be the exact same item under a different brand for $20 less here on Amazon. Search for "AO Smith Under Sink Water Filter System" and you'll see that the only thing that looks different is the stickers on the filter.

Filtered water for we apartment dwellers.
Great tasty water. Easy to install. Way less expensive than buying water. Easier and tastier than Brita-type things.

Adapter it comes with does not fit water line and customer service is horrific
This commonly bought product does not come with an installation video like their more expensive products do. There are only written instructions. After getting the unit mounted, I quickly realized the adapter they send with the product that connects the unit to your water line does NOT fit my waterline, which is pretty standard, if a bit older. They include NO extra adapters or information on what adapters may work in the instructions. I called their customer service line and explained the issue. She told me they do not make, or send out any additional adapters. I then said "Okay, I'm sure this problem happens pretty often, so what do you do for other customers in this situation" - there was about a 30-second silent pause as if I was speaking another language, and she then told me the only option was to go to my hardware store and find an adapter myself. Obviously, this was information I could have figured out on my own. The combination of her complete lack of knowledge, rude demeanor, and inability to help me in any way with a problem that has got to be pretty common was shocking considering the price of this product. When I move out of this rental I definitely will NOT be buying an aquasana unit again. I have yet to decide if I will be returning the system, I will likely try to find an adapter locally and will update this review.

Requires adapters to fit UK pipes
Bought UK quick fit connectors as the provided are for USA tiny pipes. Push fit - paperwork says you need to cut perfectly square, so avoid if you don't think you will be able to. Lasts 6 months - shorter than others but filters more so we'll see. Water tastes good.
