I tried those when my local store ran out of roasted & unsalted wonderful brand almonds, these pretty much cost the same but taste so much better.Unlike the other brand these are not over-roasted and are cooked to my liking.i ran out, ordered again and will probably continue to order from Farm Fresh for a long time.They come packed in durable zipped plastic bags.100% recommended!Update - 9/23/2015:I have placed a total of 6 orders so far all of which were delivered on time. The quality did not seem to decline. I am very satisfied with the taste.However, as of today, while attempting to reorder i noticed that the product suddenly has gone up 11 dollars in price.I do not see the justification for the 28% increase in price for the same amount, especially that the other brands maintain the same price that compares to the old cost.

I buy these almonds to process in my VitaMix and make fresh almond butter. I've found that not all almonds produce the best results. I don't know what is done to them differently but even when labeled as dry roasted and unsalted, I've bought other brands and had my butter turn out a very different color and flavor. These so far have been consistently just right. And of course they are great for eating as well if you are buying them for that.

These are some of the best tasting almonds I have ever eaten. They are fresh, with a nice nutty but not harsh flavor like some almonds have had.

These are extremely tasty with a deep, true-almondy flavor. No salt needed. The texture and level of toasting is perfect. No burnt flavor. Crispy but not hard. Buying them again. So much better than others I tried.

About 1 out of every 3 nutes (first time order) were actually fresh tasting and nicely roasted. The rest were either closer to raw in flavor or a shade old. And even the good nuts just didn't taste that much like almonds. Just not what I would call a high-end quality nut.Since my favorite (Wild Soil) is no longer selling their almost roasted, I had to go looking for a replacement. The first one (Organic) was a total disaster and waste. But I complained and they refunded my money. This product represents my 2nd attempt, and though certainly better than the first one, they just paled by comparison with the WS Almonds (and a lot more expensive). The 3rd try was significantly better. Smaller nuts and not quite as crunchy, but more consistent and even roasting and more "Almond" flavor (with all the subtle flavors that should be there (and which weren't there in this product). And cheaper.

Wow, it's amazing how hard it is to find a good source of almonds. So many variables as to how the nuts are grown and processed. Should be simple but it ain't. I have been working with two nutritionists for the past 20+ years to energetically test a wide variety of food and supplements (Applied Kinesiology). This approach bypasses having to evaluate the claims made by manufacturers and determine in a straightforward manner if the food product is healthy for people.A number of brands of almonds that we have checked fail the test, including the Costco brand almonds. I only mention Costco because the vast majority of their food and supplements we have tested over the years almost always come up good. Anyway, to the point: This brand of almonds under review test very good. That's it in a "nutshell" folks.
