Bobby Pin

I came across these unique bobby pins while searching for hair accessories for a special event. I had half of my hair n an up-do and needed a pin or Barrett to keep it in place. These worked perfectly. You need to hands to open, but after you get them in place, they are awesome and look very elegant!

Really 3.5 stars. I usually pull both sides of my hair back everyday and wanted something fancier than bobby pins and in addition to another barrette I have. The barrettes are a shiny silver and I have grey/silver hair so the color is good. One of the "pearls" had fallen off, but I just crazy-glued it back on and I think it will be fine. And, if not, I can wear that clip without the pearl. The clips are very tight & sometimes my hair gets caught in them when I take them out. I try to open them wide from the end before I put them in & they sometimes get twisted. They do seem very sturdy and it's nice to have more of a variety now. I thought the price was great for the 10 clips and I will use 2 at a time (probably of the same design-I need symmetry!).

These pins are great! Stylish but understated. Exactly what I wanted. They're a little tricky to get in place, but once they're in, they hold great. Easy to remove also. I have very fine straight hair, and these do well. Very pleased.

The clips are really cute, however, I thought they would be more like a bobby pin. They are very difficult to open and they pull my hair when I take them out.

Of all bad items via Amz these clips worst. First attempted use, clip twisted, painfully pulled out several hairs. Return attempts also very difficult. No refund, still waiting. Advise do not order. Poorly designed and made, and rather cheap looking.

I'm trying to grow my hair out, from short and layered with bangs to long and all one length. My bangs are at the stage where they're long enough to be in my face ALL. THE. TIME. but not long enough to pull back in a ponytail or tuck behind my ear. I looked and looked for some clips to hold my hair off my face that weren't: 1) too big and heavy (I don't need them to hold all my hair, just my grown-out bangs) 2) too hard to put in and take out without catching and breaking my hair (it's never going to grow out that way) 3) too elaborate and ornate, or worse, too cute and little-girly (a sixty-something woman with a pink plastic barrette in her hair...? Yeah, there a look that's not for me.) These clips work. They keep my hair out of my eyes. They stay in place. They don't pull or break my hair. They're simple and unobtrusive enough to wear at work without looking silly. I have no idea what the one reviewer is trying to do with them, but for me they're perfectly easy to position. If you can operate a bobby pin, you can use these. I've only had them for a couple of weeks so I don't know how they'll wear--whether the finish will chip or discolor over time. But if I can get a few months out of them before that happens, at this price I would just buy a new set. Update: The silver color is holding up fine, but the gold is discoloring somewhat. But like I said: at this price, I can just buy more.

I love the look of these barrettes. It is just too bad that they don't have sufficient protection on the ends, and that they are hard to stretch. This makes it difficult to put them in the hair. Don't count on them to actually hold your hair, they are strictly decorative. It's a shame, because a little attention to the sharp ends would really raise their rating.

Ich bin richtig begeistert! Der Haarschmuck sieht sehr hochwertig aus und die Klemmen halten sehr gut im Haar. Ich habe sehr dickes Haar und sie lösen sich nicht von der Stelle :-). Der Tragekomfort ist super. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.

These are pretty and mostly useful. Unfortunately they’re not as good quality as the original similar pair I’d bought a decade ago in a shop. I’m forever trying to find another set. You can’t tell that online though. If I didn’t have my other set to compare, I’d be reasonably happy with these. They are somewhat difficult to separate to slide into the hair as they twist sideways and get caught on the metal. The faux pearl ones are pretty flimsy and I would deem unwearable for me. Would I buy again? No.

Die Haarspangen sehen hübsch aus und haben eine Vielfalt an Design. Leider lassen sich die Spangen sehr schwer öffnen und sitzen sehr stramm durch die Haarklammern, die dafür zuständig sind und unter dem hübschen Oberteil sitzen. Es sollte ja nur ein Schmuck sein. Werde einige verschenken und das ist völlig in Ordnung für mich.
