We took the dogs to an area with sheep running free. Although the dogs are not sheep aggressive, 10m tethers gave us confidence that the dogs wouldn’t create mischief, whilst still having a reasonable degree of freedom. Having a smooth (plastic-like) covering, the leads slip nicely over most surfaces and is easy to clean (sheep-poo, etc) &/or dry by just drawing it thru a rag/paper towel. D-rings are at c 1m (allowing one to create a handle or to hook it around a table leg) and c 4m allowing a variety of lead lengths. Whilst the end hooks are advertised as stainless steel, the D-rings are showing surface rust, so BZP steel we assume - a disappointing economy by the manufacturer.

It's really robust & strong, so strong in fact, it sliced through another dogs flexi lead (so I've had to buy one of those as well.)The problem I've had is that 10mtrs is really long & it becomes a trip hazard for other dogs & pet owners.While it is useful to have the metal attachments on both ends, it should be noted that they can get caught & then whip round like a sling shot with considerable force, especially when being propelled by 40kg 9-month-old ridgeback puppy.I ended up cutting it in half to make it a better length & to stop the metal lug hurting other animals or people. It is fine now and I have the other half in reserve.

Very strong,just what what we needed, after buying a " rope " type lead which was very hard to grip tightly , just seemed to slide through my trip.The Trioflex works a treat, easy to hold and wont tangle,would have been 5 + stars but for the new style of clip which is very smooth and if your hands are wet it a pain to open to remove the lead,at present i have " trigger thumb " which makes it hard to grip the clip, but its still the best one ive had, and my 3rd gsd likes to trot of but still under my control. Highly recommend this lead.

Best training lead I've ownedEasily cleaned , was to long for what I needed so I cut to 4 meters but I love it and it's used every day

My last long garden lead was like a clothes line and was constantly get caught round my dogs legs and twisted round bushes. This one is much better. The thick plastic line means it’s easier for him to get out of tangles as it is heavier and tends to lie flat on the ground.I picked an orange one cos it is highly visible..... and I like orange.Sturdy fastenings, with two rings on the lead so the wandering distance is longer/shorter as you please.This suits my setter and gives me peace of mind when he’s in the garden.

This is a good long lead in a bright colour. Only quibble is that. the loop to make a handle is too long and wastes valuable length. The material is nice to handle and loops and lengthens easily through my fingers to allow my dog a bit more freedom on his walks. However, I think it will eventually snap because he grabbed part of it in his teeth one day and was able to bite into the material quite easily, leaving a frayed edge.

Overall happy with the product. The only issue is the weight of the lead, It’s quite heavy
