Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick - 714

I love this! I bought the color 714 specifically because I am from Orange County (as is Jeffree, tho I am from the 949 not the 714). It's a unique color. Pastel-neon, if that makes any sense. I have neutral undertones and a very light complexion.

Jeffree Star lip is the BEST! If you want a matte sexy lip, this is it.

Before you pay crazy money for this, go to dollskill.com and buy 714 for the regular $18 price. Always check around.

I bought mine directly from the Jeffree Star cosmetics site because the price here is way too expensive and because I haven't had experience with other approved retailers (like dollskill) but heard good things about the direct site's customer service so I felt safe ordering there.I bought: Posh Spice, Celebrity Skin, Unicorn Blood and Jawbreaker (for fun)They all glide on beautifully. They feel like they're about to dribble because of how thin the formula feels but worry not, it stays put once its placed. It'll stay wet for several minutes which gives you time to adjust the lines (especially if you overline your lips a little like I do). Depending on if you wear a lip primer or don't let your lip balm set enough, it may take about fifteen minutes to be "Fully set" imo. It won't smudge or feather once it dries don't be mistaken but it will rub off gently for about this amount of time before it completely sets.But boy once it sets, it does NOT MOVE. I"ve worn it for over 12 hours without it budging. i know some girls have given, ahem, mouth-favors and noticed it didn't budge either! Have yet to test it out myself tho ;)As for the colors:Posh Spice is my least favourite on me. It's a little more grey than Celebrity Skin which is more brown. As such I don't wear posh spice but on a different skin tone I'm sure it'd look lovely.Unicorn blood is absolutely gorgeous and I feel like I'm wearing velvet on my lips when I wear this one, but it's one yu REALLY need to be careful to have your linsn ice and crisp! If it sets and the lines aren't perfect (Again mostly if you overline like i do) it'll show because the color isf airly dark.Celebrity skin is my favourite hands down. I wear it almost every day for my daily look. Its the perfect neutral and seems to compliment most people well. If you wanna test this color out first, Nyx's liquid matte creams in Abu Dhabi is a perfect color dupe for this one (it's a teensy bit more red but its barely noticable. I literally put both on once, one on each lip, and couldn't tell the difference save for the formula. JS is definitely superior but for color checking, its a great dupe to try before you buy!Jawbreaker: It's a light blue, reminiscent of, well, jawbreakers (Some say "bubblegum blue" too). I've only worn it to swatch it so far but with the right eye-look, hair, and outfit it's surprisingly wearable! I felt pretty confident putting it on, not silly like I expected. If you have extra cash and would wear it, buy it!So definitely reccommend these, but don't buy them from Amazon. I don't understand why they're so overpriced here.
