Mr. Coffee 3 Qt. Replacement Pitcher for Fresh Iced Tea Maker, White

Fits perfectly! Not shaped quite the same as the pitcher that came with the tea maker - but that doesn't matter. Now I can have tea ALL THE TIME! Fill one, drink it all, stick that pitcher in the dishwasher and use this one to make more tea!Note: one of the questions asked about adding sugar or different "mix-ins" to the tea... the manufacturer said it was okay to add the sugar to the tea bag insert! Brilliant! I wasn't sure that would work, but it's so much better than trying to stir up the sugar that settles while the tea brews!

This has been great. With summer like temps here now, we have been making a lot to drink and this has been wonderful to use.The only thing that I wish it had, was the ability to close. Our old one was round so it could turn and close off the pour spout. This one being oval, has the large and smaller ports on the lid for pouring.

When my other pitcher got a crack in it I didn't know what I was going to do. My tea maker worked fine so I needed another pitcher. This one works perfectly and it easy to clean. I am amazed at how little it is getting stained. Totally satisfied and happy.

I ordered this when my older hard plastic pitcher fell off the counter and took a fatal blow to the floor. I never liked that pitcher as it was made from the hard brittle plastic. As the tea maker still worked wonderfully, I set out to try to find a replacement pitcher. This pitcher was said to fit by several of the previous buyers and it fits perfectly. I would never put the old pitcher in the dishwasher for fear the heat may crack it. I would never drop ice cubes from our dispenser directly into the old pitcher for fear it may crack the seam. I don't have to worry about that with the new style pitcher. Seneca River Trading processed my order and shipped the pitcher quickly. I was very pleased and would recommend to all. I currently make up a pot and pour it into a Tupperware pitcher for the fridge. Then I repeat with a second batch. I should just buy a second for a back up as we drink a lot of tea. This is what the design team should have came up with originally for the tea maker.

The hard plastic pitcher that came with my iced tea maker cracked a while ago. The maker itself still works well so I really didn't want to buy a an entire new one. I was happy to find this replacement pitcher. It's a much nicer material than the original one so I think it's going to hold up a lot better and not be as likely to crack. The only downside is that, being that it's oval shaped, you cannot turn the lid to seal the pitcher. It has an slotted opening on one side of the lid and an open hole on the other so that you can pour with or without ice but, unlike the original round pitcher, you can't turn it so that nothing comes out. Probably not a big deal for some people but I have kids who often just grab it out of the fridge quickly and that can make a mess. When the pitcher is filled and it's moved quickly the tea (or whatever you have in it) sloshes out. I do like the oval shape because it takes up less space in the fridge than the round one, but not being able to turn the lid to close off the pitcher makes it a little less user friendly. Still a great replacement though.

After ordering the tea maker and extra pitcher, I regretted having ordered the extra pitcher, but not for long. If you drink as much iced tea as we do, you'll need the extra pitcher. Because of having an extra, we are able to leave the other pitcher in the fridge as we empty it, while we brew another pot. We've used Mr. Coffee tea makers for years and have used a number of changed designs of makers and pitchers. We don't know about this new pitcher, but a couple of times in years past we would put our pitcher in the dishwasher, forget to take it out in the drying cycle, and ruin the pitcher. We don't even think of putting the pitches in the washer any more. We'd suggest that you wash by hand. It seems to be a harder type of plastic, so tea doesn't seem to stain it like the old pitchers.

It seems a bit redundant to say this product is great for iced tea, but that's what we use it for. We had an earlier version of this product and it worked well but, in my opinion, there was one drawback. The top of the unit, which functioned as the tea bag basket, was a separate piece. This new version is all one piece and just the tea bag basket is removable. There is only one minor drawback to the actual pitchers and that is when they are full they are a bot awkward. On the plus side, the new pitchers fit well in the fridge without needing to adjust shelf height.

This pitcher works perfect with my tea maker. I was concerned it wouldn't fit because it looked a little different from my original but it works perfectly. It also seems more durable than the original pitcher but we'll see. I have only had it for a few days.

Perfect replacement, little pricey but worth it to have another when having a gathering or party, can have two pitchers and when ones empty use second one while making another batch.
