I will always remember him as the person who put Reggae on the Map in America. You can hear his influences in many artists music. The Police for one and also many other Euopean bands. Great place to start with Bob
Great album, had no issues with the record itself. Great place to start as it has 5 of his biggest hits, at least in america, and you get a sampling of his more political and serious side which is often forgotten I feel. If you're burnt out on hearing the singles on the radio or whatnot I would start with burnin, catch a fire or natty dread.
