At a genuine 20g this is a useful little tool for weight concious hikers looking to identify markers and fields exits at distance. However the field of view is very limited making it hard to target items of interest at under 50m. Above 300m the x7 magnification is too low to resolve much useful detail. I suspect This would be true of any monicle in the very lightweight category. If your primary purpose is navigation this may work for you. Wildlife spotters should go for something much larger with a greater field of view if they want to look at anything faster moving than a walking duck. The unit is well made for the price although the belt loop on the case broke on first use. The eye end optic is small requireing very precise alignment with the eye and is uncomfortably close to my regular male length eyelashes. If weight is your primary concern and you only want to view static objects then this is great value in its category. For everyone else I would recommend accepting the extra price and weight by going to a larger category.

Don’t bother with this. It’s like a kids toy. Wasn’t very clear zoom inst that great. It’s less zoom than in stats. That’s why it’s so cheap. Go for the £38 one and get so much more better quality of viewing clearness and correct zoom

They are what they are, at this Size and price they're not going to be brilliant but for the kids (6 and 3) they're fine and they love them
