So I got a chair that was too low for my work bench. I measured it and wanted a certain height to be properly situated and this was perfect. This is a universal size and easy to install. The chrome finish looks great. Worth the money to fix the height of the chair and cheaper than buying a whole new chair.Simple instructions.

Fast delivery and well packaged in a box with a foam bag. Very nice cylinder.

unsure if i keep moving the height or it's changing on its own, but the price point made this an acceptable replacement for a low-boy 5-wheel roller stool.

I had to send the first one I received back as it was damaged. (Someone had it before me and used a pipe wrench on it. The inner shaft was scuffed and scratched.) After installing the replacement on my chair, I find that it leaks if I recline the seat back.

i had to youtube how to remove the old one and it was not as easy as they showed. we had to really work to get ours out and ruined the old one. the new one fit a little different which raised the seat a tad but that totally works for me

i needed a piston to go a little higher than normal. and it does goes up higher. but it sinks on its own. and this is day 2. do not buy
