Lightweight & strong
I was looking for a carrier that was strong & lightweight to attach to the rear of my travel trailer. Added bonus was that bikes attach to this carrier by hanging wheels over the hooks and strapping them on. Bikes stay even rather than hanging at odd angles. Since my camper has a bolt which tightens the post into the receiver I get no play, however that could possibly be an issue if that were not the case. Lifting the inside bike over the carrier to install it on the inside rack could be a very small issue with some, but not much. It is a little closer because I am hauling on the back of the camper. No problem with clearance of inside bike with vehicle if installed properly.. I always like using the velcro straps which are included to secure bikes from swinging. They hold securely when properly attached. Definitely the right solution for me.

Nice simple concept but didn't work out for me
I thought this would be perfect for my needs. Fitting a 29er MTB and Carbon Road bike without interference. Unfortunately, there was too much handlebar and seat interference to get them both on. I can't easily move or change those things and I really don't think I should have to. Also, my first impression was how wobbly and loose fitting all of the connections are. This thing may work for your annual trip to the beach but for serious cyclists I believe this thing will shake itself apart after some time.

Good Idea but Cheap Parts
I have had this bike rack for two years now and it has been a mixed bag of good and bad for me. I really liked the way that it holds bikes by the wheels because I go biking with my daughter and she has a small girl's bike that was hard to fit on my more traditional bike rack that I had before. This looked like it would be a lot easier to install and use and in some ways it is. It is very easy to put this on the trailer hitch. However, it is more difficult to load the bikes on than I thought. The first bike is easy to put on but trying to hold the second bike and guide the wheels onto the holders while avoiding the handle bars and seat of the other bike is tricky at times. I've tried putting the large bike in both the front and back, putting them on in different orders and facing different directions but nothing seems better than the others. Also, the parts that came with it are very cheap and I have replaced several of them already. It came with four velcro straps to prevent the bikes from rocking back and forth when driving. At first, I put the velcro on with the rough side facing in and it scratched the paint off of my bike. So I put it on with the soft side in but after about a year the loop side of the velcro peeled off on all four straps. I replaced these with straps with buckles that I had from my old bike carrier and they work fine and won't wear out after 1 year (they are over a decade old now). Second, the rubber straps that go across the tires are made of very hard rubber and have almost no give to them. It becomes almost impossible to unattached them in cold weather (below 50 degrees). It was so bad once that I almost couldn't get the bikes unloaded. I threw those away and replaced them with some softer rubber straps made by Thule. They work perfectly and I highly recommend doing this. Also, the foam rubber tubes that you lay the bike wheels on are starting to rip already. I can see wrapping those with duct tape in the near future.

Great Flexible Design!
I bought this because I have both a recumbent bicycle and a road bike, and I needed to find a way to transport both when I did a cross-country bike ride. I didn't want to pay the $300 to $400 for a rack that fit the recumbent. This rack worked great for carrying both at the same time and the price is fantastic. As noted in other reviews it does wobble a bit, but it is well made and it didn't need to be strapped down. I used it in both a 1" receiver and a 2" receiver using the adapters. No problems. The only complaint I have is that the hold down straps are rubber with holes. They hold the bikes well, but are a real pain to get on and off when the weather is cold. I keep pliers in my gear bag so I can pry them off. When it's hot, they're pliable and easy to use. In short, I'm glad I found this rack!

over weight and pretty much needs 2 people to slide it in the ...
I own a a mobile bicycle repair business, I pick up and delivery all kind of bicycles (from Walmart Next $99 to Santa Cruz $7000) all year round. It takes me 45 sec. To install it in the car hitch and 20 sec. To remove it and put it away in my Toyota Prius. Loading & unloading the bikes is also a breeze (30sec. Per bike) and they don't touch each other. I also own a Thule platform 2 bike rack $400+- over build, over weight and pretty much needs 2 people to slide it in the hitch. I also own a Yakima 3 bike joe xx $200 wich scrach the heck of my old car & my $1000 & up costumers don't like to see their bikes hanging & slapping againts each other in the back.

Very flimsy design.

OK but I Returned the Product
Worked okay, just bulky and hard to store, could not open suv hatch, did not attach solid. I have a 2 inch hitch and had to use the adapter which was loose and a sloppy fit. Not bad for the money, just didn't really work for my situation.
