5-Wide Step Lift Ladder Anodized Aluminum

(Updated)The unit is exactly as advertised and what I wanted; the quality of welds and aluminum is superb. Great value. I would give this a 5, except that assembly was so painful and it didn't need to be.Assembly is very simple in theory. Each of the handles must be slid into the frame and bolted at predrilled thru holes. However, Century never trimmed burrs from the interior of the frame's pipes and the handle piece jammed so tightly I couldn't back it out nor drive it in far enough to bolt it. About 90 minutes of pounding with a hammer - against a block of wood - against the handle finally dislodged it. Had to file down the scarring left from the excess filings that had caused the jam. Once I did that, assembly was a breeze.Suggest that you run your fingers inside the receiving tubes to make sure there are no burrs (drilling debris) around the pre-drilled holes. If there is debris, file them down with a half-round bastard file before assembly.Sent an email to their support group but no joy yet; it's been four days.(Update)Within a week the company had mailed a replacement part to me. That was way more than I expected, and above the call of duty. The part was pre-lubricated for easy fit.In operation, the ladder works quite well. The cables have yellowed and the ladder is hard to dislodge from it's locked-in position sometimes, but it is very durable.

This ladder was used with ease this past Jully 4th weekend. It not only functions well but has great form and look at the end of our dock. It raises and lowers easily. We love the wide steps.

Ladder is very well constructed with extra wide and deep steps. Installation was easy. It is also nice to be able to lift it out of the lake so it stays clean.

Awesome ladder.....The five step/wide dock ladder met and exceeded my expectations ! Not as flimsy as many similar ladders.....Should last my lifetime.....B.B.

Good quality, rugged ladder that easily adjusts for water levels from your dock surface. Great value compared to everything I looked at.

Material is good but I am not sure why all the hardware isn't supplied. We bought the quick release mounts to go along with this also. It makes the ladder not quite as sturdy when you pull up to get out of the water. We might take those off and just fasten the ladder right to the dock. Would I buy this ladder again? Eh.. Time will tell but I don't think so
