Works as advertised
I got these for our 2 week tour of the snow and ice festivals in Hokkaido Japan, to make sure I had protection from cold feet. They worked well for this purpose and keep the feet very warm. I think the product design is bulky and inconvenient with boots, trying to find a comfy place for the battery pack, and of course you need to have extra batteries ready to replace batteries after they wear out. Japan has lots of the disposable foot warmer and hand warmer products in its drug stores that just slide into your shoes or mittens, that are so much easier and lighter weight to deal with, and eliminate the battery pack and battery replacement problems. So I've given away the battery foot warmers and will just be using the disposable foot warmers from now on. Nevertheless, this product did what it said it would do, so I'm giving it 4 stars
