A question
I would hesitate to buy this book for now, in large part because I'm not sure of its accuracy. In the second line of the very first page, should the verb introduced by "quae" be "habitat" (third person singular), not "habito" (first person singular)? "Habitat" would be consistent with use of the third person singular "custodit" and "vendit" for the verbs introduced by "quae" in the fourth and fifth lines of that same page. I admit I'm barely past beginning level in Latin, so maybe I'm wrong. If I am, please correct me and I will change my review, which is based only on a very limited reading of the online preview of this book. The book also seems expensive. When compared on the basis of length, t costs quite a bit more than some similar Latin language readers.I'm updating the previous paragraph to note that the book has since received two five-star reviews, with no comments to back them up, and no discussion of the accuracy of the book.My comment that the book seems pricey also stands. $7.00 for 47 pages of large font type and lots of empty space? I'm aware of two other authors of Latin language readers on Amazon who offer proportionately much more for the money in terms of both the amount of material and, it seems, accuracy as well. I have bought several of the books from each of those two authors.
