I am in love with this steamer
I have bought other steamers in the past, but they do not work like this steamer. This steamer delivers consistent steam, not like the other ones where they push out a bunch of steam and wet your entire shirt or article of clothing. It lasts a long time with one fill of water which by the way is very easy to fill. Period. I use it all the time because I hate to iron.It is small enough to put in your suitcase, but large enough to do a great job.

Sounds like Predator
This is my first and only steamer I’ve ever bought. But I think it works great. Easy to figure out considering I didn’t read the directions. Is good to go quickly. Not heavy. I use the brush attachment on jeans and the other one on any other fabrics. Works better to get wrinkles out for jeans and some fabrics than ironing does. Would buy again. And it sounds like predator when you use it.

What's wrong with this?? - UPDATED
I'm updating my review: I really wanted this steamer to work. So I figured I'd try it one last time before packing it up and putting it back in the box. I plugged it in and turned it on. Let it heat up. Then with my figure on the steam button, I held the steamer up in the air and rotated it backwards, to the left and to the right and when I turned it forward, the knocking noise stopped and I could hear the steam coming out. From then forward, it worked completely fine and I was able to steam all my work clothes for the week at one time. If it makes that awful knocking noise again, I will do the same with rotating it around until it stops. Otherwise, it works perfectly fine.I just got my steamer yesterday. I took it out of the box to steam my work clothes. Looked through the instruction booklet to familiarize myself with everything. Followed the instructions. Filled the water tank and waited the 45 seconds. I press the steam button and all I get is a loud knocking noise and not a bit of steam. Now I'm steamed! I turned it off and started over. All I get is a knocking noise and now I can't steam my clothes.

A Must for Velvet Upholstery
If you have velvet upholstered furniture, you need to have a good steamer for proper cleaning and maintenance. This does a great job of reviving the pile of my velvet sofa cushions and removing the little spots where my cat drools in his sleep. This steamer heats up quickly, has a good-sized reservoir so I'm not refilling every 5 minutes, and doesn't cough or sputter water out everywhere. I also appreciate the upholstery brush attachment, most steamers I looked at didn't include this crucial piece of kit.

Works great for steaming wrinkles from drapes
Don't let the negative reviews deter you from buying this. It heats up fast, uses regular tap water and works wonders on everything I've used it on so far. Mainly I use these for steaming wrinkles out of new drapery panels. It's best to pull on the fabric when steaming. I bought a Rowenta steam iron 20+ years ago that still works if I'd want to use it (I hate ironing so it's in the storage closet), so it's a brand I can trust.

Dead on arrival
I bought this steamer solely because a friend of mine has it (who is a vintage clothing enthusiast) and loves hers. I used hers and was impressed so I ordered one. Unfortunately I don't have much opportunity to actually need to steam clothes so it stayed boxed for a year before I attempted to use it. This thing doesn't even work. I even looked at the instructions that said you need to "prime" it by pumping it for a few seconds to get the flow of steam going upon first time use. So I pumped and pumped. Turned it off and back on. Put plenty of water in the tank. It's getting hot but no steam is coming out. Granted I didn't unbox it to try to use it for awhile but I cant imagine a common appliance would go defective from not being used? Since it's been after a year of purchase it's no longer on the manufacturer warranty. So I'm now out a bit of money on a steamer I can't even get to use one time

Good not great
I purchased this little steamer to replace a huge floor/standing steamer I’ve had for a while. I like the size of the steamer and that it doesn’t have a bulky steam cord, but that’s about all I like. It doesn’t seem very powerful and I had to work to get wrinkles out; with my old steamer the wrinkles would instantly smooth out with no effort. The water reservoir lasts long enough to do two medium length dresses before it needs refilled. I did find that it works the best when the reservoir is totally full. If you have the space for a full size or steam a lot of clothes, go with the full size over this one.
