Pretty cool, I like this one better than the others
This was a good price at less than 15 dollars. My son saw an ad for this on a tv show and said he wanted it. When asked a few weeks later for his birthday what he wanted, he still wanted it, so he got it and another for his bday. This one is way better. This one has a cool design with unique parts. While these come with figures, the figures are not really to play with. The ships however are a pretty cool concept and can withstand rigorous play without breaking apart. They can be used like regular toy ships, and then modified how you like. They have some blasters and such so they are pretty cool. They can even be put on a display stand. These are like Lego met an old school action toy line of ships. Pretty neat. The pieces stay together well and can be put together in a variety of configurations. The fact that it comes with three designs is also neat as they can inspire you to make your own ship using the foundation of the included designs. I’d say an 8 year old will easily get the concept of these and have no problem putting them together and taking them apart. I also like the coloring of the KLAW ships the best. It doesn’t look plain. The other styles does. If I was buying more I’d lean towards buying more of the KLAW faction. These are neat and we will see how long it holds the interest of my kids, but for now, they are good buys as they still play with them daily and we like making new designs.

Fun Build and cool new toy line
I think kids would have fun building this model and the others in the line. As their collections grow, they could build pretty interesting creations using parts from all the kits. Toys like these that let kids use their creative abilities and imaginations over staring at a smartphone all day, it the ticket. I collected LEGO for many years until it just became too expensive, and these seem to be in a pretty fair price point in comparison. If Toymonster can stay in the sweet spot for price, value and quality, they could have a successful toy line on their hands here. If they get greedy and cheap, well.. but they are off to a solid start launching with a youtube cartoon, several ships, ship stats on the box, clear instructions and different characters and pilots hopefully building interest. In the future, more ship designs and factions could lead to many exciting possibilities. Using the box top for a display stand was a great idea.

Cool ship
This one’s got a really unique, alien vibe. The claw-like design is super fun. Great if you’re into the Komplex side of things—feels like it has a personality. Easy too assemble with some cool alt builds.

Amazing
I didn't know if these would be a hit or not - but my kid loves them. He got them for his birthday and they were immediately out of the box and putting them together. And he's been playing with them non stop for a week. They were even his show and tell item for schools (so gold star for me getting the cool toy). They seem pretty durable and haven't had any issues. Looks like for Christmas were going to get some more sets Also the App - at first I was worried he would think it was lame but its got some really great AR - the game is simple but it makes all the laser noises which he loves and he can pilot the ship around the house virtually shooting the lasers at stuff he's been crazy for it. Pretty crazy value for the money.

Great value for the money
This is my second purchase of these building sets. And have ordered a third set. I really can't say enough about them. When I was younger I used to build models and now that I'm older I find these sets just as much fun. Without all the mess of glue and paint. I find I like the organic/insect like shapes of the "bad guy" ships better. They remind me of the Klingon, Romulan and other alien ships from Star Trek. I believe even experienced model builders would enjoy working with these. And at a more reasonable price than some similarly sized glue and paint models. I believe that these will be a big hit at Christmas and will sell out.
