I purchased this BP monitor for my father-in-law who has CHF. The automatic cuff he has now fits over his upper arm and rarely produces a consistent report. This one is much easier for him to use and the fact that he just has to slip it over his wrist and hit a single button makes it practically fool proof. We tested it over a period of an hour and took several readings which were pretty consistent. It is also very accurate as to pulse rate. I also like the fact that it keeps an easy to use record of the last several readings. However, it really is designed for single user since there is no way to keep a record if it is being used by multiple users (of course wildly different readings can become obvious that two persons are being monitored). All in all a good machine and worthwhile for persons concerned about blood pressure. It comes in a hard plastic case which looks like it will do a good job of protecting the device.

Bad Move! The Generation Guard is a piece of ...
My wife and I have used an upper arm blood pressure monitoring cuff for many years. Both of us have blood pressure in the 125/80 range. We calibrate our home monitoring cuff with our family physician when we go for a medical visit, so we are confident our readings But as my wife has gotten older, her upper arm has become thinner, making it difficult to measure her blood pressure. So I purchased a Generation Guard Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor in hopes it would be easier to measure her pressure.Bad Move! The Generation Guard is a piece of junk. I measured my blood pressure with the Generation Guard several times over a 16-hour period. My reading kept coming up in the range of about 200/140, a reading I've never had in my life. I alternated taking readings with my normal upper arm blood pressure cuff, and the upper arm cuff consistently showed something in the range of 125/80. I carefully followed the directions in the instruction manual for Generation Guard, but it didn't make any difference.I am disappointed that Amazon would market a product so markedly inferior. I was hoping for a sound wrist blood pressure monitor; this isn't it.Thank you for your attention on this matter. I suppose I should return the item, but that is always such a hassle.Edward [email protected]

BP CUFF
I have used this for the past week and it seems to tell me everything I need to know. Blood Pressure, Pulse and heart rates, high or low BP and it is capable to store two people in memory. The cuff fits snuggly which is fine. I took my BP and went to the doctor the same day and it was exactly what the Doctor got on their BP upper arm monitor. The case with the cuff in it is a bit harder to open, I'm sure that will become easier by usage. For the low price, I think it's very worthwhile.

Disappointed, not accurate.
I wanted a good, reliable wrist b/p cuff, it's sometime difficult for me to pump my older one. I'm disappointed this machine doesn't seem to be accurate. It was so simple to use, and I thought since I didn't get a really cheap one this would be of good quality.

Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor
This is exactly what I needed. It takes good pressures every time I use it. Price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this product.I had recently purchased another from a different source. The readings were extremely high from the moment I used it and had to return it.

Very happy with this monitor
Very happy with this monitor. Dr. wants me to check my blood pressure everyday. I hate the arm band. This is comfortable and easy to use. Did not come with batteries, so I had to get AAA before I could use it. Package arrived in 2 days as promised.
