Never had Abu Garcia but knew the name. Awesome rod and reel that feels lightweight but can handle heavy when needed. Good deal!

The first pole I received the end was snapped off. So I have to say I don’t know how durable they are. But it was replaced very quickly. I was disappointed that it had to be returned because it was a gift. The replacement came all in one piece. My husband loved it, so it was worth the wait to get the new one

Broke while stringing it up. What a joke.Save your money and time and go with a better quality pole. Abu Garcia has always seemed like a good brand but this pole is trashhhhh!

The rod was to flimsy

I keep this pole in my truck in the bed incase I ever see a fishing spot and want to go cast for a while. I’ve fished my whole life, but haven’t gotten back into fishing heavily in 9 years so I bought this pole just to have with me. The packaging it was sent it was a flat rectangular 4x2 ft box roughly and it was very compressed. The box is the literal only con of buying this pole. It cast and retrieves amazing, and significantly better than my old shakespeare-ugly stick combo I got a year ago or so. Getting out and casting with this actually made me remember how much I love fishing to the point where i’m going to purchase a bass boat so I can go fishing more. Ever bit of the combo set was amazing! Next is an Abu Garcia Baitcaster! Great pole and company!

Reel tore up after just a few throws. Not like Abu Garcia reels.

Llegó en muy mal estado, el carrete rayado y la punta de la vara rota 😭, la verdad tardo en llegar y ya llevo más de una semana esperando mi reembolso, pésima opcion

First time I buy a rod off Amazon and it’s not broken. It’s so light and casts smooth. There’s no anti reverse on the reel but for what I use it for, it’s perfect. I wouldn’t recommend using this for huge fish but I’m sure it could handle it.

Excelente equipo, se siente el reel de excelente calidad es mi primer Abu García, creo que no será la última, se mira de muy muy buena calidad, excelente precio, la pedí ayer por la tarde y la recibí el día de hoy, no tengo ningún tipo de queja, bien embalada, todo excelente, a probarla el sabadito, ACTUALIZANDO ES MI SEGUNDA BLAC MAX, COMO SIEMPRE BUEN EQUIPO

Le moulinet va vraiment bien mais la canne qui va avec par contre ma briser dans les mains a sa première pêche
