I own a Riccar and was purchasing the same type of bag for double of this price at a specialty vacuum store. I’m so thankful I found these on Amazon. They work fantastic and fit my Riccar perfect! I definitely recommend these to anyone with Asthma & Allergies. They are truly cost efficient and great quality!TIP: Put a few drops of Young Living essential oils of Purification or mix a few drops of Thieves & orange oil on a cotton ball and place it in your vacuum bag when changing out bags for a refreshing fragrance, and added bacterial odor defense.

I have tried this at my job site with full of drywall dust, fine sanding dust combine with some spider web.It corrected those very well and made the bag plump.With today's technology, most paper bags are very efficient and this HEPA is even better.OEM(Simplicitybag) might be better with thicker layers, but my judgement is "good enough".Regular bag..........99.7% filteration (2 ply paper bag)HEPA bag.............99.97% filtration (cloth bag)I can't compare those with home test so I have to rely on those number.HEPA fit very well on my very old 7000 series.In addition, it fits 20 year old Kenmore vacuum too.

These make excellent filters for facemasks.We have these inserted between two layers of cotton.

These bags fit seem to work just as well as the brand name for a fraction of the price. My benchmark is odor. If I can;t smell anything while vacuuming then the bag seems to be doing its job. The non HEPA bags result in an odor while vacuuming even if they are Riccar brand.Purchasing vac bags is not one of the more fulfilling purchases you will make but if you want to vac then you gotta buy em. These work.
