Won't stay together very long.
Units can barely stay together & "drivers" will not remain seated inside the vehicles, even when just rolling along on a flat wooden floor. I may try to substitute real Lego parts where I can and see if that helps as actual Lego people seem to be able to stay better attached. It's a great idea, but the execution is less than stellar. The non-truck-related parts are fine, however, so we can use it moving forward with other toy vehicles.

A bit of a disappointment..
I'm a bit disappointed with these trucks. My son has actually given me the go-ahead to super glue the pieces together so he can really play with the set.The don't hold together well at all. Some of the blocks are hard to put together, but yet they come apart so easily. And the truck bodies don't stay together well either. We had gotten everything put together as best as it would allow and after getting the first truck to go, the back of it fell off before it even hit the ramp. I can only imagine if they were to collide with each other or even the blocks on the ramp. It would be much better if they held together so you could actually get some playing time in before having to put them back together. Definitely nothing like real Lego's.My son loves the little Lego's and monster trucks so I thought this would be a perfect birthday gift for him, guess we just have to settle for one of the two.

Falls apart easily with small parts
This sounded like the perfect gift for my 4-year-old son - it is meant to crash and they are monster trucks. But, what falls apart are small parts like the flag off from the back. It is hard to keep track of all those small parts. My son prefers playing trucks with just regular monster trucks, not the K'nex ones. And he prefers to play with Legos/K'nex as building blocks, not trucks. I suggest buying them separately for what they are originally.

Excellent kit for your Monster Truck fan!
My son hasn't stopped playing with it and wants more in the series. And pretty much all the Monster Truck K'NEX. He really loves the motor for the truck so they travel on their own when they are crashing. And when the fall apart, he loves putting them back together and coming up with a story about the crashes.

Much better than I expected from past reviews
I was worried about buying this item because of the bad reviews, but I have built several K'NEX sets and my son loves Monster Jam, so I thought I would give it a try. Well, my son loves it, and with anything built with K'NEX/Legos/etc., it's not going to stay together permanently. The parts fit together very well, and my son has had hours of fun (ok, maybe I have played with it a little, too). The parts are much larger than normal K'NEX sets and there are just a few pieces to deal with (compared to the 1,000+ piece sets). My son gets much more frustrated with the Star Wars Legos sets falling apart than he does with this. If you're a fan of Monster Jam, and you're not planning on jumping these off of homemade ramps, I say go for it!

Ripoff
Seriously was duped in this. $40 for the smallest K'nex set I've seen. The trucks themselves are no bigger than 2" tall, 5" long and maybe 2" wide. Total ripoff

Monster Jam Grave Digger versus Maximum Destruction Set
My Grandson likes the Grave Digger so this Destruction set was very good. He loves trucks and cars. I would recommend this to any little boy who loves trucks.

No lo recomiendo
Los cochecitos se montan con dificultad con el sistema de bloques tipo "lego" y tienen un acabado y aspecto de baja calidad
