Is this the "soft" Turron, or the "hard," crunchy Turron?

Spanish Turron, such as Sanchis Mira is typically hard. Turron de Alicante is whole almonds in a very hard candy matrix. Jijona, like the ones in the accompanying picture, are not as hard. They are a honey and almond flour with crunchy bits of almonds.

does it has an expiration date? or a manufacturing date? how to know if they are fresh or form previous year?

They are typically available only during the holidays but from time to time some merchants will resale old stock. The only way I know to make sure they are fresh is to buy from known quality suppliers.
