Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, Vol. 7 (7)

This volume might be the best of an already outstanding series. The art is exceptional, the story line ever evolving, and there's the addition of some great new characters. This volume was full of action and if you understand a bit of 5 element theory of Chinese medicine or are a martial artist you will appreciate the little gems of wisdom here. Fun!

After the slightly slower pace of V6 we are back to full speed as the group resumes their efforts to find the Elixir and get off the island.This series is kind of wild and more than a little unsettling, and honestly I love it. Between the overall design aesthetic of the scenery and the characters, it’s like a gorgeous nightmare. The fight scenes remain incredibly well done and dynamic. With the addition of more reinforcements landing on the island and the group getting ever closer to making it to their goal, the plot is really ramping up and taking some unexpected turns.A few volumes ago I would told you I had general ideas of where the plot could go, but now I just don’t know. With the big face offs happening, some flexible loyalties, added aggressors, and mysteries still left to uncover I am honestly not sure what volume 8 will hold. I am excited to find out though.I received a review copy in exchange for an honest review from Viz Media and Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Pretty great. Lot’s of action, suspense, and brutal martial arts and fantasy violence. The artwork really good too. Love this series.

In this volume a new group arrives on the island and immediately they show their strength. Meanwhile the main group begins moving closer to finding the elixir of life. Fights are still intense and art keeps being detailed.

Great price and fast shipping

Events are becoming more tense and violent as the ill-fated mission to retrieve the elixir of life draws to its conclusion. Ninja, samurai, convicts and monsters confront one another, promising a bloodbath for the next volume.

Delivered much earlier than expected and the quality is perfect. This particular vol has been hard to find and I can continue the series. Thank you!

Book was delivered very fast and prompt 10/10 for that BUT the book itself had a few scratch marks on the front cover which is annoying as I like things looking new without any marks etc but overall inside the book it's perfect just a minor shame really! So I feel 4* is more than justified if it didn't have the scratch marks on the front cover it'd be a definite 5*

This is definitely the best volume so far in the series. A lot of the aspects of what makes this story great are shown in great detail and it is a blast to read through for any person who likes to read action stories with samurais and good sword fights. The package came 6 days earlier than it was supposed to when I ordered standard shipping which I was pleasantly surprised it had come that early. The book came in perfect condition no scratches, bends, or cuts. Really worth it picking up this series and it has a lot of really good volume covers to attract you to buy it.
