They’re not magic…or are they?
1st pair. Great socks. Been wearing them through the winter on many outdoor hikes. If I stay walking they keep my feet the perfect temperature and wick away any moisture. Even when they get damp my feet stay comfortable until I get home. They also fit my feet very well and don’t slide around, bunch up, or even smell very much from sweat. The other day I was hiking through snow and then had to stop for a long while, my feet became very cold while stationary, (so they aren’t magic insulation) but within 5 minutes of walking again they warmed right back up and kept me going for hours. I’m looking forward to seeing how they perform in warmer temperatures. When I put these socks on I mean business. Happy they have a lifetime warranty because I will always want to own socks like this.

The gold standard in merino wool socks
I wasn't sure I'd like these, since I've had scratchy wool products before, but while they weren't initially super soft or anything like that, they got more comfortable with wear and washing. They excel by being very durable and breathable.I started working from home, and bought these after finding myself wearing through socks within a week of purchase, due to the abrasiveness of the carpet where I was living. The Darn Tough socks are still perfectly usable months later.

Happy feet
As someone who has lived in the outdoors most of his life, I am very keen on good socks to make my treks, climbs, fly fishing, and all my backcountry actitivities successful. These are simply great socks. When I received them I put them on and did not remove them for nine days. It is not unusual for me to wear socks multiple days on my journeys. I read some reviews that some folks had issues with sizing. That was not the case for me. No “gathering” near the toes, no sweating and sticky feeling feet. They were dry and comfortable for the nine days with no itching, rubs, or hot spots. Once in North Cascades National Park I was forced to put heavy medical tape for blisters on my heals to save my trip. I wore my hiking boots everyday and had no such problems. Granted, I was not climbing five or six thousand vertical feet, but this was a pretty good test for those climbing trips. Finally, these socks are very expensive, but I don’t have any reservations now about them. I have worn Darn Tough for many years, and I expect my socks to last for many years. So true in this case that you get what you pay for! Go forth my friends and enjoy life.

Great socks!
At first, I thought I was crazy for paying what I paid for my first pair of darn tough socks. However, they produce a quality product and they are super comfortable. As someone who spends a good bit of time outdoors, it’s important to have a comfortable pair of socks that don’t slide down to your ankle throughout the day.If you’re looking for a sock that will last, wicks moisture, and comfortable, then look no further. The full cushion sock is amazingly comfortable and keeps your feet dry. I had a few pair already and then my wife tried on one of mine. Now she has me ordering her some. One last thing for the outdoor folks. These socks are anti microbial. If you’re on a 7 day hunt or camping trip, you can wear one pair for several days and they don’t smell. They control foot odor.

Expensive but great socks
They have a lot of cushion but are not too warm to wear in the summer. Great socks. Just wish they weren't as expensive.

The Perfect Boot Sock
Full-grain leather boots don't breathe well, so these socks are a godsend with how good they are at odor control and sweat wicking. This is especially true in the summer; they are surprisingly good at keeping your feet from feeling overheated despite the heavier wool construction. They're comfortable, too. I've spent up to 10 hours a day wearing these socks with my boots and not once did my feet feel sore or blister by the end. Because of how thick they are, you might need to size up by 1/2 in whatever shoes you might wear with these, but from my experience I have had no trouble wearing the same size boots. My only gripe is that the toe box often feels a little tight after a long time of walking, but if you pull it away from the toes by an eighth of an inch or so the problem basically disappears. With the lifetime warranty, these are pretty much the only socks I'll ever need for doing work and outdoor recreation.

Good socks
I really like these socks, but the price is not for me. After wearing these socks the 2nd time I did not turn it inside out (I believe the label said to turn the socks inside out when washing it) and the socks started to pill/looked linty looking/looked thready looking WHICH SUCKS since it was kind of expensive for a pair. Though, it is my fault for not following the machine wash care. Socks fit true to size and the socks are comfy and thick, but not too thick if that makes sene. I bought these socks to test the moisture wicking feature, I think it works HAHA. I use the socks for work and I work in the kitchen. I guess you can say the thermo regulating feature and odor resistant feature works. The socks are pretty warm but it didn’t bother me.

Excellent quality and good fit- ideal for hiking.
Excellent quality and good fit - the sizing is a tad confusing- I have size 14 feet and despite being designated "large", they barely fit- my experience is they do stretch a bit over time.. the socks are very comfortable especially if one does a lot of hiking.
