I laser engraved this to say ‘When switch is down, Colin is right! And hung this in my workshop. It turned into quite the popular joke so I might end up having to get some more.

Ich hatte schon andere nutzlose Boxen aber aus Plastik. Alle haben eines gemeinsam: Sie lassen sich oben nur auf einer Seite öffnen und man muss die Batterie zwischen Batteriefach und Elektronik rein fummeln. Man hat dafür nur 1,5 cm Platz oder man schraubt das Batteriefach ab. Allerdings kann man es nur ohne Batterien wieder anschrauben. Hier ist die Lösung cleverer. Oben habe ich 2 Klappen und komme dadurch sehr gut an das Batteriefach. Auch die Qualität ist nicht schlecht. Schönes Holz, sauber angebrachte Scharniere, gute aufgedruckte Beschriftung. Wer lieber Kreativ sein möchte, dem empfehle ich die Holzbox ohne Beschriftung.Das einzige Manko: Es schaltet sehr schnell den Schalter wieder um. Hier ein Tipp: Ich habe nur eine AA Batterie eingelegt und als Zweite ein Batterie-Dummy. Funktioniert wunderbar. Ist jetzt langsamer. Vielleicht könnte es noch einen Tick langsamer sein aber so finde ich es schon nicht schlecht. Ich würde die Box auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen aber nur wenn sie sich oben komplett öffnen lässt.
