got a new copy of the book, but one that was not supposed to be sold in the usa

I was attracted to the book because it appeared to have a very extensive set of "solved" problems. I would have given this book a five-star rating but upon close examination, however, it turns out that a great meny of the so-called "solutions" are simply special cases of unsolved even-numbered problems and their "solution" simply refers back to the general (unpublished) result. Worthless and infuriating. Maybe the Nicholson book would be a better choice.

I really like the book. The book explains concepts and theorems clearly and provides a lot of exercises to practice for readers.

This too was advertised as new. It is very used

My son used it for a text book for a Math class, exactly what he wanted.

This is best book for abstract algebra if you do self study because the language of this book is simple. It is easy to understand. Quality of paper is good . Book came in nice condition without any visible damage. This book is great for this price range , it is value of money. This book has too many questions and examples.

The book itself is known , more than amazing, regarding the quality of the book paper, it is excellent although the book is not coloured
