Brisbane to Cairns (via Bruce Highway) 2014: HEMA

We spent 5 weeks touring the East Coast of Australia, driving form Cairns to Sydney. It was brilliant. We weren’t interested in the Great Barrier Reef; instead we wanted to see as much wildlife as possible visiting a number of the national parks. This map was an excellent starting point clearly showing places of interest for further investigation. Although as a map to be used for driving it was like all maps, what is on the map is not always signed on the ground. Our way round this was to pick a place off the map as close as possible to where we wanted to go. Enter this into the sat nav then pick up local signing one we were there.
