Rush Revere and the First Patriots: Time-Travel Adventures With Exceptional Americans (Audio CD)

This is my second set of Rush Revere. I think I liked the first one better although I do like this one too. I have one complaint with both sets of CD's, I wish they would tell you when it gets to the end of the CD and suggest you put in the "next" CD. I listen in the car so I listen in bits and pieces. On occasion the CD gets to the end and then automatically starts over. If you're not paying attention you don't realize the CD has restarted. After a bit you soon think "Gee haven't I already heard this?". That's when you realize the CD is repeating. Other CD's that I've listened to tell you you're at the end. Minor but irritating.

Rush has found a great way to teach our children about our country's history. I have been sharing these books with my grandchildren. They love them too.Our children are very smart. If you tell them the truth they will understand it and remember it.There are sooooo many events to write about in the building of this great nation. I hope Rush continues to write about these events. Our children will really benefit from this education. This does not fall in the grouping of "for the children" that our politicians use all of the time just to get what they want. This is really giving our children an honest education about the building of our country.It shows love for country, passion, and sacrifice. This country did not come free. The costs were great.Duckie

This is not only a good children’s book, it’s a good book for anyone that is interested in history. Rush is a great storyteller and I would recommend this book to anyone at any age.

Every kid should hear this or read the book series. Adults can even learn a thing or two. Loved it. Seller delivered as promised.

As with the Brave Pilgrims book in this series, the book itself is attractive with the pages having an "aged" appearance and the inclusion of photos,(of paintings) and drawings of the main characters. Its target audience is middle school age chldren (plus or minus) but is suitable for reading to younger children. The history is accurate and interestingly presented in a unbiased manner. (It would be a shame if the author's known polictical viewpoint discouraged parents from providing this and the other two books in the series to their children as my knowledge of the events described in the books confirm their accuracy.) Also side subjects such as bullying and establishing good relationships by kindness are found in these pages.

We got this and the CD's for our great neighbors who have an7 year old who devouers books and a 6 year old who also loves to read and their little 5 year old daughter who loves the pictures and Liberty the talking hours... What a GREAT way to teach them the truth about our Country and our Heros and what it took to become independent and FREE.They have the first book and loved it... Rush is such a patriot and he is a talented enthusiastic lover of America and proud to shar it with everyone.The Libs are having a cow... they always do when truth comes out. "Spoiles their day. " Heh heh. Everything does that they can't control. heh heh.

I love the fun and truth in the books. If everyone were truthful we wouldn’t have the mess we have

This book is amazing, we bought the Audio version for our Grandson (as we like to listen when we drive.) This way this book is worded is in such a manner that my 5 year old Grandson is so into it he doesn't want to stop listening. So, we bought the Hardback book as well and are reading to him at night. We get good family time as well as get an education!!! I highly recommend these books for any age child, my 11 year old Grandson was listening in the car and when we stopped he said he was "watching the movie in his head" and that from him was very impressive. It sparks the imagination!!!
