I bought 2 for my kids who are fans of that Walking Dead show. Arrived quickly, look like plain black mugs. I poured hot coffee into one to test it and it took a while (maybe a minute) but it changed from plain black to the image you see on the AD here. There are images on 2 sides of my mugs. Pretty darned cool. Have not washed them yet but I will pay attention to the reviews that say they are NOT dishwasher safe.One week update: We ran into a slight problem. Similar to Pokemon scent dropping to attract pokemon, these cups appear to attract zombies. I had to use a shotgun to clean up the crowd of zombies that gathered on the front porch yesterday. Just keep a loaded shotgun handy in case this happens to you.

Everyone loved this! Makes a great gift for the person in your life that has everything. Didn't want to buy something that was cheap/knick knack, and wasn't able to spend a ton. This was such a hit. The first one I bought was a birthday gift....the second was for Father's Day.I am not very good when it comes to buying/ finding useful, neat, meaningful or creative gifts unfortunately. So getting this and seeing how much they loved it and how interesting it was....made me really happy!!!! It was hard trying to find something for that person that has everything/ doesn't need/want for much. Especially if you've got a coffee-drinking, Walking Dead fan!!!!

my daughter LOVES The Walking Deadened she absolutely loves her new coffee mug. The seller ships lightening flash FAST and is wonderful. I tried the cup out with water that was not warm enough for the mug to change into the zombie hands. I did not realize that the water was not warm enough and thought the smug was defective. I notified the seller and he/she was extremely helpful-right away they offered to exchange at no cost to me. But luckily, nothing was wrong with the mug-the water has to be HOT for the transformation to work

I really love this cup, it works really well. I would definitely give it a 5 Star if the image would have been bigger or if it would have had one on both sides. Cool cup, great quality But the image is only on one side and is smaller than the one they show you in the pictures.If my review was at all helpful to you please click the relevant button, thank you.

Took two weeks to receive but when I placed my order it wasn't PRIME. Now I see it's PRIME and actually $4 cheaper but it's from a different seller though.I took one star off because of the price difference and even though it was "standard" shipping-it took two weeks.Now the mug-I took pictures empty, with hot water(front) and hot water(back).It holds about 15oz and pretty cool the way it "morphs".

I got two mugs, one for my husband and one for my dad they are both coffee and zombie lovers. Anyways they came almost a month ahead of what I was told, which was super awesome. My husband opened and used his right away, worked great even the part of the mug that didn't actually have hot coffee touching it changed. We haven't taken my dad his yet, will update after his use.

I loved these cups when I first purchased them. Now the black is peeling off the outside of the cup. It would have gotten 5 stars if not for that. Not a huge deal because I can still drink out of the cup, but it was neat to watch the mug change from cold to hot.
