Good buckler
Lightweight compared to steel and just as tough. I actually like the thicker grip. I have modified this buckler extensively and it rides shotgun with me everywhere

Durable shield
Very strong and resilient shield for the price. Great value for a low level adventurer.

Literally shattered a solid oak staff.
This shield has taken immense punishment with only scuffs and not even scratches. My buddy broke his solid oak staff in a duel with my other buddy. It is reasonably light weight and a fine choice if you want something bigger than the buckler. The only issue is the nuts and washers. They are too easy to lose so get lock nuts or lock washers. To the best of my knowledge they are 3/4.

Putting together is an issue.
Overall excellent shield. Slightly heavy, but just practice with it regularly and it shouldn’t be a problem. My biggest issue was putting it together. I couldn’t find my socket wrench set but the socket would have to be pretty small to fit in there. I used needle nose pliars which was difficult at first but I was able to get it done. I still really recommend the sheld.

Awesome dress up prop
This was a Christmas present for my Spartan-loving 12-year-old son. He was stoked to find this under the tree and had been wearing around with his helmet and weapons ever since. It is durable heavy duty plastic, that even our puppy has not been able to chew up. It is heavy, and I would expect that anyone much younger than 10 might struggle with handling, certainly with one arm. The shipping was quick and I was very pleased with the vendor. Please disregard the dirt in the picture; that was added on the first day of play. :)

This little shield is good for practice, but I only wish that this strapped on your forearm. Rather than just holding it in the middle with one handle.

So good!
Perfect for my son’s 13th birthday gift! It feels good to hold and is very strong! My boys are always play fighting with polypropylene swords, and this shield is a perfect addition. It’s a little expensive, but overall worth the money.
