Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies Solar Hydrogen Education Kit

Excellent educational tool. It's a great way to teach grandchildren what their future may look like. It took a few minutes to understand the directions, particularly that the fuel cell has to be humidified prior to producing hydrogen, but once over that hurdle the process worked as advertised. I was especially intrigued with the all-in-one electrolyzer/fuel cell. My previous experience was with separate electrolyzers and fuel cells.

The media could not be loaded. I haven't gotten to use this yet so as of the quality of functionality, I can not say. This product came with all of the peices necessary to perform the experiment. There are detailed instructions included. The materials seem to be of nice quality plastics and such.

We bought this for my 3rd graders science odyssey project. We did a bunch of experiments trying different voltages and liquids looking for efficiency. Ended up we ultimately broke it with these experiments but it held up to some abuse!

A very cool educational toy. I'm curious as to just how much hydrogen and oxygen it can generate from 1 ml of water! Beautiful packaging, excellent .pdf textbook on alternative energy included on CD. I was concerned at first it wasn't working, but the included motor proved me wrong.

Great product, excellent customer service. Used it for my son's science project - he had a lot of fun with this kit.

I've used this product for 2 weeks perfectly. It can produce gas when I give electricity. However then it can not be produced electriciry. It has water and connections are correct. I've asked technician and he can not solve this issue. I think horizon pem membrane is not good product since it can carry only 2 weeks. So you want to buy PEM you should find real seller like Nafion.

Measured voltage at 1.5 volts. SolAr cell powered the fuel cell to produced h2and O then the fuel cell used the H2 and o to create 1.5 volts. It turned the small motor but not enough power to do anything else. Good demo to beginners, easy setup, motor turned sometimes with a little hand spin.
