High Quality Remote Shutter Release for MUP and EFSC
I love this remote. It works flawlessly on both D200 and D810 camera bodies. The cost is far less than the Nikon product.Use this remote on the D810 for critical work with the Mirror Up and Electronic Front Shutter Curtain options. This remote allows you to avoid touching the camera and causing a vibration.EFSC only works in true mirror-up mode.It will not work just by using Self-Timer to raise the mirror, and Exposure Delay.MUP + EFSC is the ideal method for vibration-free exposures. You need the MC-DC2 to trip the shutter (twice) without ever touching the camera.

I didn't realize how useful this was until I actually started using one
I didn't realize how useful this was until I actually started using one. It does feel a little cheap but it was cheap and works perfectly so I can't complain. I use this with my D5300 and while I haven't done any long exposure with it yet, it really makes macro easier (especially since I only use extension tubes).

I use this on Nikon cameras
Generally it works well. the cable is reasonably long for most purposes. Sometimes the activation button sticks in the on position, but that might be operator error.

Works Great!
Very simple and easy to use. Literally takes no mastery to use this device. All you have to do is plug it in, point, and shoot. You can focus from the remote as well. It has a great length to take pictures with the remote. I recommend this for those who want to take pictures for slow shutter speed quality pictures.

They work with my Nikons
Love these remotes. I keep buying them, using them, putting them back in my camera bag and then the black hole swallows them so I have to buy more. :) They work with my Nikon D90, D3400, D5600. They work well, attach easily and keep working. I now have 2 in my camera bag (different sections), 1 in my glove box and 1 at home.

Poorly made cable/connnector. Doesn't last. Might damage the port on your camera.
Update: Product did not survive to the 3rd use: Essentially this is a disposable product 🚮This product is not terribly expensive, and the shutter release itself is OK, but the connector is very poorly made. It is difficult to plug into the camera as the fit is way too tight. As a result you have to really fight to remove the connector from inside the camera port. After using it twice, the connector has already loosened from the wires. It's only a matter of time before it comes completely apart and/or the end of the cable gets stuck in the port.I'm pretty unhappy with the lack of quality control on this product. I hope this $7 POS cable doesn't cause irreparable damage to a $400+ camera...

This works great. I am doing animation on my Nikon D3200 and I needed a way to take frames without moving the camera position. It is well made and robust and securely connects with the camera. Well packaged and delivered on time. The cable is long enough to keep it out of the way as I work.

Worked Great for Awhile
When it worked, it was great, but it quit working, can only assume it is something in the cord.
