Gets the job done
So I was sort of forced to buy this because there are really are almost no options for a right angle USB Type-C adapter of the... "up & down" type as the product title says. It's basically the one that's not flat. But hey, it works great so far.All I can say is that it works fine with my iPad Pro 2020 12.9-inch. I use it with some Anker USB Type-C cable and that's worked great, and it also works well with my Anker hub for the iPad Pro as well. I have *NOT* tested data speeds to verify the 10Gbps claim because I don't really have anything to test that adequately with. My focus is charging and use with the hub for external monitor usage, and for those two purposes, it works fine.Durability-wise, I disconnect and reconnect it to my iPad at least once a day almost, and it still works two months later, so I can hope that this continues. I will update the review should it fail and the customer service doesn't address it adequately.Honestly I can't really say anything about the other adapter in this (the "flat" one) because I haven't had a reason to use it.

Works well in the car.
I have been driving, doing deliveries for a couple years now and noticed that the charger cables that I use in the car tend to break or at least not charge well after a couple months. I needed something that would allow me to prop the phone up on the holder but not destroy the cable. This item works wonderfully. The phone sits perfectly on the flat edge and the cable is spared undue stress.Definitely worth it.

Just what I needed on my lap desk
In preparation for a 3000 mile road trip on which I plan to work remotely (when it's my wife's turn to drive, of course), I'm setting up a lap desk. I need to power my laptop, connect it to two phones for tethering with carrier diversity, and keep it all organized on the little lap desk so that our car doesn't become a horrible rat's nest of cables. No arrangement I could come up with got everything connected without worrisome stresses on the cables or putting them across my mouse space. Then I thought to get a right-angle adapter for the cable from my USB-C hub to the laptop. Poof. Now everything fits without strain, whether I put my work Mac or my personal HP laptop running Linux on the desk. Both laptops report that the connection is A-OK, though I suppose it's worth noting that none of the hubs I have handy to test with support Thunderbolt, so I can't actually report success. If I remember how TB over the USB-C connector works, though, anything that works for USB-C should work for Thunderbolt as well.

You need this if you use your iPad Pro/Air4 on a stand in vertical orientation.
The right angle adapter in the first photo is MANDATORY if you want to use your iPad Pro on a stand in vertical orientation while powered - there is simply no alternative that I have seen. Pictured is the Rain Design mStand Tablet Plus with a 2020 12.9” iPad Pro in a Smart Folio. None of the USB-C cables I have tried will fit any other way.The right angle adapter in the second photo is MANDATORY if you want to use your iPad Pro on wedge stand for drawing or note-taking and you don’t want the cable to drape across the mousepad if you’re right-handed or your Magic Trackpad if you’re left-handed and use a dual mouse-trackpad setup.Of course, the dream is to find a single iPad stand that accommodates both orientations and provides power - but no such thing exists. The Logitech Base from a few years ago was a mostly awesome idea, but it’s not relevant to the current iPad lineup. I would love to just pop the iPad out of the Smart Folio and onto a stand that charges it, but for some reason that’s not a thing right now.The third photo is legit probably the best iPad stand on the market. Held up only by the magnets in the iPad/Smart Folio: https://www.amazon.com/Fellowes-Kopy-Aid-Letter-Copyholder-11053/dp/B00006IC46 It’s probably a good idea to use the right angle adapter to power the iPad when on this stand.

Perfect solution!
I just purchased an XP-PEN drawing tablet (Artist Pro 16TP) which is wonderful, but the connector ports are on the top edge of the unit. One of the supplied cables sticks straight out of the top and makes my workspace awkward. These adapters, specifically the Up/Down one, remediated the issue completely. Best of all, these are of the few that support recessed ports, which this one is. I tried several other adapters, but they simply couldn't reach the connection. This did so as if it was provided by XP-PEN. One should not be this excited about a simple angle adapter but here we are. Will definitely purchase from this company again.

Does the job.
I had been in an extensive hospital stay, as a result, I was streaming on my phone a lot. Watching it in the portrait position meant that my charging cord was supporting the phone. This was a brand new anker cable. I started to notice the end getting bent and kinked around. These 90 degree adaptors solved the problem. They have secure connections on both sides and a solid body

Did Exactly As Expected
Ordered this for my PS5 as I wanted to take advantage of USB C port on it. Have a headset that uses a USB C dongle but would block the USB A next to it when plugged (You can probably guess which headset I have if you’re a headset enthusiast). The previous adapter I purchased was too short, and I mean the plug in portion. It didn’t even stay in and was very loose. I was afraid this one would be like that too but took my chances. Luckily, both adapters in the 2 pack fit nicely and securely. I was actually excited when it fit so well. When I tested my headset, it worked as I hoped. Now I can use all the ports on the PS5 properly. Thanks, Celluarize! 👍🏼😁
