Amarine Made Boat Marine 5 Spoke Destroyer Steering Wheel with Black Foam Grip, 11", 13-1/2", 15"

I was excited when this steering wheel showed up. Pulled it out of the box and it looked HUGE. I compared it to the stock one I had on my new boat(plain black and looked like it came off a lawn mower) and it was just a tad bigger. I would say this one is about 14in with the foam and all but looks great, fit great, and has a great feel and look. I would buy again. The foam is hard and looks durable. I believe it will last a long time

Replaced a 15" diameter all-stainless destroyer wheel on my 2000 Sea Hunt Triton 172 (17' center console) that finally broke. Fit perfectly onto the 3/4" tapered shaft (with woodruff key) on my Teleflex No Feedback steering helm. I love the slightly smaller diameter, much better scaled to this small vessel, and less banging my thighs into it when standing to operate. I like the polyurethane foam grip, not too hard, not too soft, it fits my big fat hands, and is not nearly as slippery as I expected, even when covered in blood, guts and slime. Impressively good quality, at least as good as those 2x to 3x the price. Center cap is a 2.5" Heyco dome plug, so if you want something other than smooth black you can replace it easily.

The steering wheel is actually really great. The problem lies in the black center cap. It is cheap plastic and would not fit until I modified it. Even still, I fear the black cap is so tight that I will have to pound it on and I will never be able to get it off without breaking it. Too bad, the wheel is good enough for five stars, a two dollar plastic cap spoils it all.

A nice replacement steering wheel for my boat. The steering wheel grip is a "plastic feeling" type of foam that could be harder to grip with wet hands, I haven't tried yet, but I think it will be okay. Overall appears to be nice quality though and fit my boat correctly. The center cap snapped into place correctly as well.

I was skeptical about this. But when it showed up it was very sturdy and really nice. Easy to install on the boat.

Looks and feels great on the pontoon. Boat is only 2 years old but the wheel it came with looked and felt cheap.

The black cover sold with this steering does not fit. I mean it is impossible to mount the cover on the steering.

It fits my 1972 star craft and looks great well worth the money. I’m very pleased

Awesome quality and construction. Looks even better than the pictures. Only difficulty I had was that the black center cap is really tight. Took a fair bit of work to get it on... At least it will never accidentally pop off!Great puchase. Would buy again.

Very sturdy and well constructed steering wheel for my boat. Better then my factory one hands down. Buy it you won't regret it.

Awesome wheel... Replaced my cheap oem plastic wheel. Adds enough weight and momentum to make easier steering.
