Q: Is the paper suitable for fountain pens?

According to the product description, the paper in the midi journal is 200gsm. I don’t use a fountain pen, but that’s a good, medium-thick weight and ought to be ok for fountain pen. Much depends on the size of your nib and how hard you press, governing how much ink comes out…and of course whether you blot as you go or let the ink sink into the paper. I wouldn’t use felt tip on this paper but I do use gel pens and they do not bleed through. Hope that helps.

There is a choice to order it lined or blank. It’s a beautiful notebook!

Q: What gsm is this notebook ?

I can't swear to it but it feels like about 100 gsm but it could but up to 120. It's heavier than some of the paper Paperblanks have previously used and it's excellent for drawing in ink or pencil. In fact, you could do some gently watercolouring and I think it would be fine.
