I make my own shave soap. I used to use a coffee mug. They worked fine. If you spend money on an expensive razor and an expensive shave brush, then you need a substantial shave cup. This is it. Now I will cut my shave pucks twice as thick.

Much better than the tiny metal cups. I easier to work up a lather without spilling soap all over the place.

Very nice bowl, no over spill of lather, perfect size it fits everywhere, cleans very easy, it fills like a luxurious piece of antique, you could use it for traveling but taking a chance of breaking, it creates a nice lather.

i tried a different type of cup style it was difficult to use. this bowl the size is just perfect for what i need to get foam. the handle works well.

I wanted something for the sink , it’s attractive and easy to use . I like it. I could have used a mug, but it’s not the same . This is classic and reminds me of when my grandpa shaved in the mornings

Arrived well packaged and in good shape. Shaving soap fit well and bowl deep and wide enough to produce great lather. Very satisfied.

I've tried other cups that are smaller, but this wider one lays great in my palm and doesn't feel like it's going to slip out and drop. It lathers so well and stays thick throught my shave. Great buy!
