Fiskars 5 Inch Classic Blunt Tip Kids Scissors (4 pack), Color Received May Vary

Excellent product!I ignored my teaching days and got a different (cute) brand for my toddler grandson. Bad idea! I could barely cut with it & neither could he. I recalled this brand from my teaching days and ordered it. Awesome! Now he’s not struggling with the scissors so his virtual teachers can clearly see that he can cut.

The only problem I had was that they were all screwed too tighly making it more difficult to open and close and I can see hands getting very sore after use. Fortunately, that was an easy fix as I just had to get out a small phillips screw driver from my tool box and loosen it up a bit. Now they're perfect. They cut well and have round tips for safety. The colors I recieved were dark blue, teal blue, lime green and dark pink.

I wish I would have bought these instead of the dollar store plastic scissors! The blunt tips are great for younger kids. The blades are short since they are for little ones but it doesn't mean they won't get a close cut - it just takes a bit longer. Definitely worth it if you have kids entering school. They are less per pair than a retail store and you have an extra pair or two for home for practicing!

I ordered 3, 4-packs of scissors to replace a bunch of old scissors in my classroom. I received 3 packs of all pink scissors - that was the first ding. These are cheaply made and are very stiff- third and fourth ding. I treated all with WD 40 trying to loosen them up for preschoolers to use.Maybe it's because they're all made in China now???? You think???

This brand of scissors are the only ones I have ever used throughout my decades of teaching.

Easy to use and quite sharp! My 5 year old son is a little behind in fine motor skills but he has no trouble with these scissors. They are sharp enough I find myself using them!

These scissors are small enough for my 3 year old daughter to comfortably use and sharp enough to stand in for household scissors in a pinch. Great little scissors for a pretty good price!
