Women’s Pinafore Square Apron Baking Cooking Gardening Works Cross Back Cotton/Linen Blend Dress with 2 Pockets Gray

I’ve been on a search for a perfect Japanese style cross back apron for a while now. I’ve bought mid priced ones from major retailers (e.g. World Market) and I’ve bought a fancy homemade one from Etsy. The Etsy one is way to small (its “one size”) and the material is meh. The World Market one for example has a nice weight material but isn’t quite long enough and is slightly too big (also “one size”). I wasn’t expecting much from this apron, it’s pretty cheap. First advice would be to order 2 to 3 times LARGER size than you think you need. Apron is made in China and seems to use Chinese sizes. When you get the apron the size on the tag may not be the size you ordered but it will be correct.I ordered this apron in the red color. The color seems to be color-fast in the washing machine and its not faded (I hang it to dry, not put it in the dryer as I’m worried it will shrink). It does get very wrinkled unless ironed. The material its made from isn’t the best. It feels cheap. It’s pretty thin and scratchy, even after multiple times being washed. But it does seem to be fairly durable and after about a dozen washes there are no holes or loose threads.I like the length and how high up my chest it sits. I like the high up cross back. I wear a size 40D bra and the 3X size fits ok but its snug across my chest, I couldn’t wear a sweater under it comfortably. In short, for the price its decent. I can forgive the crappy material because I like the design so much. I’m thinking of trying to find someone to recreate this in better quality fabric.

I bought this apron to wear around the house and garden. Its perfect. The cotton is lightweight and the style of the apron makes it easy to move around in. I bought the size I wear in a t-shirt and it fit a little bigger. I think though if i had to wear a sweatshirt under it I would want a size larger. I love the olive green color and it washed well with little to no fading that I can tell. I highly recommend this product and have already told all my family and friends to get one.

For a large person aprons dont fit or look great. This boho/cottage core earthy linnin is baggy and it's not to short. It is very airy but because it is the fabric can't hold any weight in the pockets without causing the cloth above the vertical pocket seems to rip. My phone is to heavy so I need to find a way to reinfoec that part. If you need it to be more stain/oil resistant use liquid starch in a spray bottle on the front part. The straps are well fixed to the body so you could gather some garden vegetables in the skirt part. The color is true to the photo but it's dye was not set or is just low quality so it bleeds a tun.

I purchased an apron like this in Italy this summer. I love that it is easy to put on, it covers my entire front and it has pockets!! I did rip out a bit of stitching in the back to open it up and make it easier to put on. I teach art/ craft classes at a senior living facility and these are great. We just slip them on- no tying. The fabric could be a bit better, but it is good for the price.

First I do like the style and the piece couldn’t be beat. However, the apron is brown and not green as I ordered and the size is HUMONGOUS! Usually Asian sizing runs smaller than US sizing so I ordered one size larger since I wanted the apron to be loose. I probably should have ordered one size smaller but since there was no tags indicating size or fabric content I’m thinking I was sent whatever apron was on hand and they just put it in a plastic bag that had the correct information on it. Instead of going through the hassle of trying to turn it I’ve figured out how to alter it so it fits correctly. After reading others’ reviews it seems sizing is hit or miss and not consistent from one apron to the next. I also doubt this apron has any linen in it since it came out of its bag wrinkle free and stayed that way even after being altered and worn. It is comfortable and suits the job I intended for it but it makes me hesitant to buy another or recommend it to others.

Yes it’s thin material but I’m a small woman and I don’t like heavy bulky things draped on me while I’m cooking or cleaning or grilling. I will use this everyday.

I love the type of apron style, the material & the quality is superb but it feels a little snug on me so I wish it had a little bit more room in the chest & back. I'd still buy it again though. It is the apron that I always grab first. I just wonder if they come in larger sizes???

For what it costs, its just some thin breathable denim like fabric sticked into an aprin. If it hets wet , the water transfers onto your clothes in contact with the aprin immediately. It doesn't provide an actual protection from food and liquids to your clothes. Perhaps could be used to just protect from dry dirt and wiping hands on the aprin.
