Very strong. Magnets are normally rated on 1" thick steel. You can pull it off of thin metal with a little tug. Stuck it to a piece of 1/4" and had to use a block of wood and a hammer to remove it. Rope could be a little heavier though but usable.

This is a great strong magnet. So much in fact my husband had to use a pry bar to get if off the propane tank 🙄🤣🤣 i wish it had a longer rope but all around well worth the money.

I was not expecting this beast of a magnet. I placed it on the ceiling in my shop and was very surprised to see it held me up. Can't wait to get it out on the river!

I used this product for an hour didn't pull up anything but sand. Then the whole magnet snapped of that is ridiculous. The rope should have snapped before the magnet. I want a refund. Or a new magnet.

Meh. It’s a magnet. 900lbs. is a stretch to claim though. I highly doubt it has that potential. Was gonna use this for magnet fishing but I don’t think it’d pick up anything unless it was completely flat on top of it.

Good magnet. The eyelet kept unscrewing easily. Had to put thread locker on it to keep eyelet from unscrewing
