It is super tight, which is good because it smoothes you out. Buy one size up from what you are. If you are wearing a dress it is not difficult to use the restroom. I bought my exact size and it is super tight, but I love it. It may seem like you can't get it on, but don't worry you will be able to get it on

I am 5'1" and it comes to about 2 inches above my knee. I would not recommend cutting the slip.
