The Blocker Tie Ring has changed the way people tie their horses, providing a safe, humane way to tie your horse. Designed to be a support system rather than a restraint system, the Tie Ring allows a horse to pull slack in the lead rope when he panics or falls. This releases pressure and the source of pain or panic, dramatically reducing the threat of injury to you and your horse. Now the next generation of tie ring, the Blocker Tie Ring II with Mag-Loc, improves upon the original. The Mag-Loc feature holds the tongue in place, making the tie ring more stable so it can be mounted at any height. In addition to cross ties, single ties, grooming and tack areas, trailers, high lines and picket lines, you can now mount the Tie Ring II on hitch rails. The stays on either side of the tongue prevent the tongue from sliding around the ring so your horse can safely pull slack from any angle. The new specially designed Quick Snap makes the Tie Ring II even easier to move from location to location. You can take your horse away from home knowing he can be safely tied just about anywhere. The Blocker Tie Ring II--simply the safest way to tie your horse.

Sometimes new fangled is just what you need
Having owned horse for over 45 years I've seen alot of fads and gimmicks come and go. One of my recent rescue horses has an aversion for pulling back in a split second. As much as you want them to learn they can't get away with that behavior, risking nerve damage or worse if the horse snaps a rope flipping over backwards, out weighs the need for a "lesson". Using a heavy cotton lead and these tie blockers gives him some pressure release and a few seconds to think things through. Even if he truly panics when he's done he'll still have a lead rope and halter attached. I think that's pretty important when you're not in a fenced in area. I use them in my trailer, cross ties and feeding stations when necessary. The shiny nylon leads tend to slip through too easily but there are a few options where looping the rope through more than once increases the friction. I prefer thick cotton ropes making out easy to make a loop, pass it through, loop the magnet bar and snap the bar back to its magnetic "nest". Quick and easy

Great safety device
Have used these for years. Pulling horse is slowly released by lengthening tie, giving handler a little time to grab the line or calm the horse. Wish they came as a set with the cross ties.

Be sure to put the magnetic catch on the back side. Works great.

Worth the money.
Very sturdy. Keeps horses safe. They do not hurt themselves if they get startled. Highly recommend using these.

Can get bent out of shape after awhile but will still work.

Missing piece
I bought two of these. One of them came fine, the other was missing the center piece. I emailed them & asked for replacement instead of having to return both...never heard anything back

Took a minute to figure out
Worked well with two foals. It took a minute for me to understand the best way to use them. Once that was sorted it has been a great addition to the barn
