I usually never write reviews, but I feel like this is necessary. When I purchased this, I honestly didn't think it would stick and was already planning to return just in case. Well, of course I was wrong. It's more sturdy that I expected. It holds both my curling iron and straightener at the same time. It's heat resistant and I don't have to worry about it falling from the weight.

Perfect for keeping a hot iron off the counter, while protecting your cabinet & counter! Wish I'd found this sooner! It saves alot of space on the counter & offers a level of safety, too!

this works very well on the bathroom sink that is granite, it grabs and does not slip. Perfect to store your hot iron after use with no worries of it falling!

This is a handy gadget for holding hot styling tools so they can't roll onto the floor or swivel on the counter and cause a burn. I think the depth front to back is more of a size to hold a flat iron or curling iron, but my heated styling brush with 3/4 barrel can fit. It will not hold both that brush and the one with 1 1/4 inch barrel at the same time. It can hold 2 narrow/average flat irons side-by-side or an iron and one heated brush. It needs just a bit more depth and width to get 5 stars. I like to have two sizes of tools heated to catch longer and shorter sections of hair with waiting.I tried mine on my wooden nightstand, and it sticks nicely even when tugged. Mine is a smooth finish, so if the nightstand is a different surface your experience may differ. The holder sticks to granite bathroom counters well also. The heat is kept inside the holder, so no burns when I leaned against it with a hot iron down inside. I could feel the heat coming from inside the holder.I like it enough to order more as gifts and to keep one in my bedroom and one in the bathroom. The price is good for what it does and the fact that it appears well made and likely to last for years with careful use and periodic cleaning.

I purchased these for family members last Christmas. They loved them so much and raved about how well they work, that I bought one for myself. Whether it's my curling iron or straightener, this works great and stays in place hanging off my granite counter. Also works on other surfaces. Once I forgot to unplug my curling iron, and even thought it had auto-off, I felt better knowing it was in my holster. GREAT PRODUCT!

I am a hairdresser and one of the tool holders on my station was missing the bottom, causing my flat iron to slide too far down inside it and getting too hot. I had to replace it twice because of overheating. I decided to try this and it is perfect. I was skeptical it would stay put considering how often I have to pull my flat iron out of it during the day, but it doesn’t budge and is out of the way. It is easy to clean and sticks even after removing it to clean and putting it back. Wish I had tried it sooner.

At first I was super excited, product works as advertised and was a great holster. Then you discover that it only holds for maybe 1 - 2 hours before becoming loose and clashing to the floor which is a product risk to damage things like hair straighteners and dryers that you use this for. We have shelved this and don't use it any more. I tried everything from washing the counter, ensuring it is fully dry, etc. but still happens. My wife straightens her hair before bed and so when puts it in the holster at night, we wake up to it eventually crashing to the tile floor. Would not recommend, I would give it 0 stars, but there is a possibility my marble counter top is not as keen to hold and other stone tops are more keen to hold? Not sure so rated a 3
