All in One Card Reader Blue

I bought this card reader for the sole reason of storing files to my micro sd cards, it only worked the first day and then it was telling windows that my micro sd card was damaged and unreadable, I almost decided to throw away a perfectly working sd card but then I tried with my cellphone and the micro sd card and my phone was able to store and delete files like a charm.also I tried this card reader with multiple operating systems (mac os, linux, windows 7) and different computers and multiple cards and it was the same for all of them, don't waste your time on this product.

There are problems with the design of this card reader. I love the color and the look of the unit and the multi-format ports, which cover all that I use. But, after plugging and unplugging the unit, the micro connector to the USB cable comes off of the PC board in the case and it no longer will function. I even tried resoldering the plug onto the board to no avail. This has happened with all three units that I have purchased. I loved the look and functionality of the unit that much, that I purchased one after another after the previous one broke. The last one I bought, I even tried strengthening it with epoxy, but with constant use, that one also broke. Maybe if I bought a fourth one and filled the entire case with epoxy, but that would probably destroy the clear blue plastic view that I really like. And, I should not have to do this. If you do not have to move the unit from computer to computer and just connect it once and forever to a single computer, it probably will serve you well for years.

I've had one of these card readers for years, and other than a crack in the case it still works. My spouse bought a Targus card reader that was extremely slow and kept generating errors, but this one moves files fast on both Windows and Mac. When I thought that at last it had died because media cards would no longer mount to the desktop, it turned out I just needed to zap the PRAM and reset the SMU on my Mac and all was well again. What I like best about this unit is that there is a removable USB cord and unlike most media readers it is long enough to use with a desktop computer, not just a laptop. The other thing I like is that there is an LED to show read/write activity.

lowest quality. Do Not Buy. Broken. faulty connection, card reader shows up blank. useless and waste of money. There are no more words to describe this atrocity of a product.
