The dial itself features Cotes de Geneve patterning framed by a polished castle-style bezel. The dagger-style hands are filled with Luminova for easy read in the dark. This Delphi is equipped with a comfortable and stylish alligator embossed genuine leather strap.Krysterna CrystalsKrysterna is proprietary to Stührling Original and refers to the crystals that are used in its timepieces. Krysterna stems from the eyewear industry and has more strength over a spread surface area than sapphire. Krysterna crystals are more scratch resistant than mineral crystals and more shatter resistant than sapphire crystals. The Delphi Family belongs to the Classic Collection, and they include timepieces that feature mechanical and automatic movements. Many of them also utilize an exquisite triple step design bezel.Summary of Features• Movement: Manual/Self-Winding Mechanical MovementThe hand-wound mechanical movement is perhaps the most classical of movements. It operates exclusively by the daily (or sometimes more often) winding of the crown to power the mainspring (the “heart” of the movement). Unlike its automatic mechanical counterpart, this type of movement does not feature a rotor. The energy source is the mainspring (a spring coiled into a tight spiral) which is wound manually by the wearer twisting the crown, usually in a clockwise direction. As time progresses, the spring begins to uncoil, releasing the energy needed to activate the various wheels and make the movement tick. Without routine winding of the crown, the hand-wound mechanical movement will eventually lose power. Thus, mechanical hand-wound movements usually require daily winding. A hand-wound movement requires greater care than almost all other types of movements because once the mainspring is fully wound, additional tension may cause it to break.• Complications: Skeletonized Three Hand Movement with Hours, Minutes, and Seconds• Dial: Skeletonized Dial• Hands: Obelisk-Style Hands with Luminous FillDiagrams of Features P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); With dedication to the heritage of watchmaking, Stührling Original timepieces appeal to the most discriminating taste at reasonable prices. Through meticulous labor and rigorous testing, the vision of the Stührling Original timepiece is brought to life inside our workshops, where “Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of intelligent effort.” Assembling a Stührling Original mechanical automatic movement comprises no less than 30 checkpoints, spread throughout the assembly process. The movement must meet more than 7 criteria, including a mean variation in rate which is the highest standard in its class in the industry. Stührling Original remains committed to its mission of preserving high manufacturing standards on all of their fine timepieces. Each and every model conveys an inimitable story with extraordinary style. See more

great automatic watch!
for those who don not know, you MUST wind the watch a full 24 hrs in order to get it going. after that, as long as you wear it, it keeps perfect time. i bought this for my husbands bday and its just gorgeous. fits him great and doesnt have a giant face.

Disappointed
I was pretty pleased with this watch when I received it, however after about a week it just stopped working.

It WAS great
For the first two month it was a great watch. Looks great and I had gotten a lot of compliments on it. I wore it every day except when I was sleeping and because it is self winding, it would die (not the problem) The problem came when I went to adjust the time back to the correct time. it wouldn't work. so I figured no big deal ill just sent it back under warranty. they are asking 20 dollars to mail it back to me, no to mention the initial cost of me sending it out to be fixed. I guess that's what you get for paying 150 dollars for a nice watch. if I wrote this review a month ago it would have gotten 5 stars, but too bad it didn't last.

Loose Rotor
I loved this watch when I first got it, and still do. But today it appears the rotor came loose. It makes a rather loud rattling noise when I move and doesn't self-wind anymore. I thought it was strange when it was louder than usual then I noticed the time was off and the regulator had slowed down. I want to give this watch a great rating but I will have to wait to see how the warranty process goes. Turns out I am already an additional $20 out of pocket (for Stuhrling to ship it back from repair) only two months after I bought it.

They look amazing, but thay are cheap. Mine broke a few times. First time in a month after I bought them, and second in a couple of months after that. Everytime when you wanna use warranty you have got to include a money order on $20 for shipping, even tough actuall repair is supposed to be free. Bracelet is also cheap and become shabby soon. Also in a description it says that front and rear glass made with Krysterna crystal which is non scratchable, but mine have scratches on it.Moreover, I bought the same watches for my brother and he had same issues
