At Claddagh Wood we design and hand-make all of our boards in our workshop located in the small village of Ballinalee in County Longford, Ireland. We source our wood from many parts of Ireland and our expert craftsmen choose the only best wood for our boards and always from sustainable sources. The wood we use is air dried for up to one year and then kiln dried for a further two months to ensure the correct moisture levels which allow us to produce high quality boards that last for many years. All of our boards are finished with a food grade mineral oil and are carefully inspected to insure quality of finish. Each board is branded with the Claddagh Wood logo and comes bound by satin ribbon with a Claddagh Wood card on the front and "Our Story" card on the back. Care instructions are included with your board and show how easy it is to keep your board looking as good as the day you bought it. This serving board is a real statement piece and can be used for breads, salads, cold meats, as a cutting board or simply for display on your counter top.
