Definitely different
First, I like to leave reviews for others because I rely on the reviews that people leave so heavily. Unlike other reviewers, I did not receive these discounted or free. I paid full price because I believed this is the product I wanted.Next, why did I buy these? I wanted something to wear as I rode my motorcycle. I figured I could put ear plugs in to protect my ears from the wind at high-speed's while I use these. Does this work? Yes and no. It does work with the little finagling of putting my helmet on. It is a bit of a tight fit under a helmet but is very possible.Does it do what it says? After all there are holes along the side that allow some music to play through. (So yes there is noise leakage at higher volumes.) Am I just hearing that noise with the piece near my ear canal? I put it to the test and plugged my ears. I did this with my fingers and I did it with ear plugs. I could certainly hear the music very clearly with my ears blocked. So, it does do what it says.Speaking of music, I tend not listen to a lot of music with tons of bass so I cannot speak for that aspect of the quality. I tend to listen to classic rock 'n' roll, instrumental, jazz and podcast news oriented sense. It handles all part of my music. However, I can say I was very surprised with the quality of sound I was hearing. This certainly did the job as well as just about any other headphones.Phone calls: Clear as a bell for me and the person on the other end of the line.Battery life: I haven't actually timed it. But, it seems pretty close to what they say.I not only ride a motorcycle, but I do a lot of bicycling. These will work well although I have not specifically tried it on a bicycle. Low speeds on a motorcycle give you the same effect. If you are a cyclist and you are thinking about this particular way to listen to music, I would recommend. The fit: They fit pretty well as I thought they might be uncomfortable being pressed to the sides of my head. I had visions of a head in a vice like experience. At first I thought it would be terrible. After wearing them for 20 seconds, you kind of forget they are there. Comfort is not so much an issue. I do like that I don't have sweaty things sticking in my ear or having to clean wax off the ends of mine your buds.Overall, I really like them. I would buy another pair and recommend them to someone else. If they crap out in the short period of time, I will update my review. I feel it's important for people to get an honest view of the product. As with all reviews, each person may experience the product a little different. For me, works OK.

Impressive – Bought the Aftershokz Bluez 2S for the intended purpose.
Aftershokz Bluez 2S Wireless Bone Conduction Bluetooth Headphones are impressive. The ability to hold a conversation, stay in tune with your surroundings, walk city streets while listening to music, talking wirelessly over a mobile phone, being alert and safe is what this product is all about. If you are looking for in ear/over the ear, brain damaging, and ear drum bursting sound, this product is not for you.The best way I can describe it is, picture yourself in your house with your music coming from your sound system. You are still able to hear everything and everyone around you while still having the music going. That’s it in a nutshell.I bought this product for its intended use; listening to music while cycling, mowing my lawn, walking, hanging out with friends, and any other activity. Mainly, I bought these for my cycling. I have never put head phones in my ear and would never recommend anyone do that while road cycling. You have to be completely aware of your surroundings. The Bluez 2S in my opinion is the answer. It takes cycling to a new level, especially when you’re climbing (Extra Motivation). To me, the music story books those experiences and moments. It does bleed a little when the volume is set high (People can hear your music). Usually, I keep at mid- range volume when I’m talking to people (they can’t hear it). The quality is exceptional for Bone Conduction. It fits over my thin rim glasses nicely. With cycling gear, my cycling glasses fit over the top of the Aftershokz and between the straps on my helmet. I use the extra strap on the back of the Aftershokz that allow it to rest better on my neck. I’m not sure I really need the strap but it feels more comfortable.Bluetooth Connection is simple and straight forward. Battery life is great. I do recommend a travel case to protect it. Although it is sweat proof, I won’t chance it by wearing it in the rain. I highly recommend this product to people who are active or do sports who want to hear their music/phone calls and still be safe and alert in their surroundings.

An interesting concept, probably not for everyone.
tl;dr: Hasn't aged well as a Bluetooth headset, considering the battery life. Seems like a good solution for being able to hear your environment, with audio quality being the sacrifice.Bought this two years ago as a neat gift, found it recently and decided to review it. At the time, I chose it because it looked unique. I never personally used it until it just resurfaced during a move, and I will say, I personally wouldn't get it in 2018 but in 2016 this thing would've been pretty sweet.•SOUND QUALITY: Decent, as you'd expect of something from bone induction and not from sound going directly into your ear canal. Pretty much just press your phone speaker into the back of your ear. Not horrendous, certainly not groundbreaking.•COMFORT: Also decent. It's one size fits all, but luckily I have a large head and it sits pretty flush. It's also lightweight and not cumbersome. Of course, I'm not wearing this for long periods of time, so I couldn't speak on that. Speaking of which..•BATTERY LIFE: Poor for 2018, but I won't knock it for that. We've come a long way. Less than four hours now that it's aged, but I'd imagine most users using it for a bike commute or a jog won't find that troubling.Overall, a nifty and unique gift. Haven't looked into whether or not there's newer versions or models of these kind of headsets, but I'd probably suggest buying that instead. I've reviewed it as I would've if I had in 2016, since in 2018 it wouldn't get a passing grade strictly based on battery.

Excellent sports headphones - let down by poor quality warranty and service. If you intend to buy don't use amazon
Bought these primarily for running, as I tend to run long distances and was getting issues using in ear headphones. The sound quality is ok, no worse than my previous pair of yurbuds. I don't expect perfect sound quality, but I expect them to be comfortable, easy to use and robust. These tick all of these boxes. The experience of being able to listen to music and still hear what is going on around me makes running a lot easier and enjoyable. As headphones for running etc. I highly rate them.I have also found them a great help for work, taking calls and keeping my hands free. The microphone works well and the call quality is perfect.I have updated this review as the multifunction key has stopped working. As these are bought via Amazon and they are not on the authorised reseller list for Aftershokz, I have had to submit a warranty claim to the USA and I have still not had a response. Disappointed now.

Fantastic sound, fantastic fit, fantastic concept.
Absolutely delighted with these. I was a bit sceptical at first, especially with the (relatively) low price, but can honestly say these are fantastic. It takes a bit of getting used to being able to hear your music and your surroundings, but after a while you get used to it. Sound quality is great both for music and voice calls. What's more (and this is something that previous bluetooth headsets seem to have struggled with) people can clearly hear you too. I got them for use while driving (I can't wear headphones while driving as I don't think it's safe not being able to hear what's going on around you, but my car doesn't have bluetooth) and for use in the office so that, again, I can listen to my music but still hear whats going on around me.Fit is comfortable and secure; you forget you're wearing them after a while. I'm a glasses wearer, but so long as you put the headphones on first then this isn't a problem. All in all I'm absolutely blow away by how good these are. Highly recommended.

Great quality and sound just not adjustable enough
Love being able to listen to music without my ears being blocked. The sound is clear and rich and they look great. The limitation is with the fitting. The band which goes around the back of your head needs to be adjustable (not just the inner bit). With my head shape I found that when I went running looking up would often be enough to much the back of the frame against my jumper or hood moving the bone vibration bits into the wrong position. Due to this they didn't fit my needs for running (and they also had same problem if sitting down with head against something).

Worth the money, better than the cheaper bone conduction headphones.
Previously I had bought a pair of cheaper generic bone-conduction headphones but they didn't last long. I haven't been disappointed with the Aftershokz though, sound quality is better than expected, battery life is great and they are comfortable to wear. If you're wearing glasses like me, I'd really recommend wearing a glasses strap like this [https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B013SUL38Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1] and then wearing the glasses on top, that way the frames don't get bent and it is more comfortable to wear.
