Fun for kids
My 6 and 9 year old enjoyed using these shooting targets in the backyard. The rubber tips do not pierce cardboard (and are thus are safe unless they go into someone's eyes) - our targets were cones and other objects that stand up.I chose this set because I wanted both of them to shoot simultaneously (and 20 arrows seemed enough). Unfortunately one bow was broken on arrival. I emailed the seller who replied within a few hours that they will send two new bows. Besides the broken bow this was worth the cost ($33) and what I had expected based on the description and other reviews. (eg I didn't expect arrows to shoot straight, which they don't)Assuming the two bows arrive soon and intact, definitely above average customer service.

Nice toy but the container is too little
Good bow and arrow but the storage pouch is too little and only holds 4 arrows. If it can be 3 times bigger, it’ll make more sense.

I didn’t want to like it.
As the title says, I didn’t actually want to like this. I run a summer camp with an archery program. We have about a dozen real bows in various sizes and styles (from beginner bows to compound and recurves), so I felt like having toy bows with a hole in the middle instead of a proper arrow rest/handle was just going to teach kids the wrong ways to handle a bow. I’m still not convinced it won’t.However, I decided to buy a set of these bows to use indoors on rainy days so I would t have to cancel archery outright. As it turns out, the kids loved them. For our youngest kids, who struggle to keep their arrows on the bow, this brings back their enthusiasm for archery. It’s easy to use, and still let’s them feel like they are doing real archery. The bows are playable wood, and the string is inelastic. Which means the bow limbs are still holding the actual kinetic energy, as opposed to most toy bows where the bow is solid and the elastic string is what contracts to release the arrow. The arrows are nice, and again being made of wood still allow kids to feel like they are having an authentic archery experience. The rubber tips look pretty cool, though I still wouldn’t recommend shooting them at people. I do wish they came with or sold some Velcro tipped alternative arrows so we could easily assess the kids accuracy with these bows.

Okay for the price
Didn’t expect much for the price but the bows and arrows seem to be holding up well. One of the quivers fell apart upon opening the package. Over all not bad.

My kids love these!
Despite the rubber tips, they will actually shoot with some force. Do not let your kids shoot at anyone or any living creatures, because while there may not be a puncture, it will cause abrasions and bruising. That said, these are just right for kids who are wanting to learn the motions and intuitive concepts involved with shooting a recurve bow. My children hung a ball from a string in the living room and had a great time with target practice. Even my toddler was able to get a few good shots in. I really like this simple product--and the way the arrows fit through a hole in the bow is good for fine motor skills and accuracy.

Inspect Bows upon arrival!!!
Fun and cute set for our warrior princess. Looks authentic and classic. SO DISAPPOINTED one of the Bows was broke when my daughter opened it Christmas morning. Not sure how to get a replacement as we do not want to return the whole piece and Amazon makes it difficult to to talk to seller. Super Chic.

Safe and my kids love it!!!
My 5, 6, and 7 year olds LOVE these!! The string doesn’t go all the way back to their ears (but maybe they just have long arms), and the arm guard is too long for their forearms, but the quality and ease of use was perfect!!!Due to previous reviews, I decided to glue to rubber heads onto the arrows before giving them to my kids- it has worked just fine.My kids have been spending good time, outside, focusing, and learning to follow instructions for VERY GOOD REASONS!I love that the rubber tipped arrows just bounce off the target, rather than putting holes in the wall of the shed!I just ordered a second set so they can each have their own bow.

Overall good, but It has strong smell
It is a fun set. My kids love them. I have nothing to complain. The only reason I gave 4 stars isn't of 5 is the arrows have strong smell when it was new. We have to leave them in an open space for a few days before I give it to kids to play.
