9mm Thread Protector
Like other reviewers mentioned, the 1.5x10 fits perfectly on a 9mm barrel to snug thread protector down and keep it from backing loose. Would like to see it offered in a lower count than 25, but that's ok.

Perfect for Hatsan
Was looking for replacement O-ring for gas cylinder on Hatsan Escort 12G shotgun. After numerous failed attempts with other vendors (not on Amazon) selling O-rings that were too small, I came across these and decided to give them a try. These are a perfect and direct replacement for the Hatsan Escort 12G. Forget the other guys.....use these.

Perfect Replacement O-Rings for a Leaking Harbor Freight Hose Reel
Not finding the exact replacement O-Rings for the Harbor Freight Hose Reel, this 2.5mm (thick) by 11mm (ID), totaling 16mm was the closest to meeting the OEM specification of 2.4mm (thick) by 11.2mm (ID). The difference between these is, the Viton ring has a .2mm smaller ID, but the actual ring thickness makes up for that. In the end, there is a slightly tighter seal perhaps due to a little stretching of the smaller 11mm ID and then the slight increase in thickness. The terminal Outer Diameter increase in the end (over the original) may be only as much as 1mm in the end. At least in this usage case, the difference is a tighter seal! And these worked VERY well for replacements. It may be the nature of DuPont’s Viton that these O-Rings do not offer much stretch at all. The old (perhaps standard rubber) O-Rings were very easy to remove from their seats and stretched easily over the wider shaft to remove them. While applying the replacements using the Viton O-Ring, the first attempt failed and the O-Ring split while trying to stretch it over the shaft. Being a harder material than the original O-Ring, I may have played a role in the failure by using the wrong tool to slide the ring with (having to use a prying force). There was no such failure using this tool while removing the old rings.Comparing the old rings and new rings, there is a definite difference in elasticity. Perhaps this is why the old ones failed. Here is a tip: if you do use these O-Rings to repair your HF Hose Reel, clean up the old seats and apply a little brake grease on them. Slide the first ring (the outer ring) on and let it slip into its seat. This will allow the inner ring to slide past (over) the first ring. The fix to the hose reel was so fast and simple, I should have done it years ago!

Hooray
After installing a JD jet kit and screwing around with the bsr 36 mikuni on my dry 400 s way more than anyone should I read that this one tiny oring under the needle jet could be responsible for the hot start problem I was havingI can’t be sure it was just the oring which was very worn but that combined with a new smaller pilot jet and one size smaller main jet made my bike run like new so hooray you can find this stuff online and huge shout out to the thumpertalk pros that share their incredible knowledge !!

Fixed a power steering leak in my BMW...
I looked for this O-ring specifically to fix a leak in the power steering fluid reservoir of my BMW. BMW apparently has chosen a low-grade O-ring for this application and this is a common leak problem that results in dried oil crusting around the reservoir. BMW uses ATF for power steering and so I did some research to see if there would be a better choice material for this application and was pretty much recommended by everyone and everything i read to use Viton. This O-ring is a perfect fit for the power steering cap (that says "ATF only" on it) and my leak has stopped now. I've only had it for a few months so it's hard to say at this point how well the O-ring is performing. The factory O-ring usually starts to show signs of leakage after a couple of years. I'll report back after a few years, but this option is much cheaper than buying the factory power steering cap (in order to get a new O-ring) and I can now recommend it to other BMW owners as well.UPDATE for 2015: it's been over 2 yrs since installing this O-ring and the leak has not returned on my car. I've also installed this on several other people's BMWs with the same problem and none of them have come back with the leak. This looks to be a good solution to the P/S cap leak.

Excellent Upgrade / Replacement O-ring oring for Chicken Nipples!
Do you add vinegar to your chickens water? If so you have probably noticed that the o-rings expand and crack due to the acidity causing the nipples to leak over time (~6 months for me). While replacing the O-rings is a little cost saver as the nipples are ~$1 a piece, the real savings is your time. I use 5 gallon pails as waterers. Now instead of taking the time to un-thread and replace nipples I can just quickly swap out o-rings. Bonus, these are Viton, so they should last much longer than the standard Buna Rubber that your nipples come with.

I ordered the M1.5x10 (10mm ID, 13mm OD, 1.5mm wide) orings for a threaded 9mm barrel and they fit perfectly. i decided to buy the huge pack of them since the cost per item was a no brainer. No worries on the off chance i lose one

Ordered a 25 pack but when I received this, there were only 10 o-rings in an opened zip-lock bag.

Fixes Briggs carb jets
These fit the brass jets on the stupid design carburetor jets on Briggs and Stratton lawn tractor engines that like to fall out of place and land in the carb bowl. Cheaper and better fix that new jets from dealer
