Solid product simple installation assuming you can handle basic wiring and surface mount.

Excellent quality RV hookup. Can be used to charge VW Buzz and many other electric vehicles. Unfortunately I am returning it because I don’t have room in my electrical panel for a double 50 amp breaker.Still this as good as it gets for a very good price

Used this for charging an EV. Works good and had no issues with it. Price was right and it includes everything you need. Only complaint would be that the lid dose not have a catch to hold it open, but thats not a big deal.

Very stout enclosure and will last. Does exactly what I need for a 50amp. generator input. Now the bad news.....1) If working with big wire (mine was 6/3) you are in for a job. Not a lot of room in rear of box for manipulation.2) The front cover does not stay in the up position. This creates a hassle while installing/connection if you are by yourself.3) The 2 retaining screws that hold the front plate in place are TOO SMALL !! (this is inside the box with little room to work your fingers)4) As others have said, the punch outs are not punch outs. Get read to drill, cut, Dremel or whatever. Metal is thick and tough too.5) If you are not mechanically/electrically inclined, not good at trouble shooting/alterations or have the tools, this is not the box for you. Also, if big wire is your plan you better be willing to spend some time making this work.With all that being said, this box is one tough SOB and should last forever !! You just pay the price upfront. I am satisfied and I recommend if you're up to the task !! Don't say you weren't warned......

As an electrician, I must say it’s pretty dumb it doesn’t come with a rear knockout. But I simply drilled a hole big enough for an RC75. Took 5 minutes to mount and install. I’ve definitely worked with worse. Also, nice it comes with a spot for a lock. 👍

Works great so far. Install went well. I wish it had more room on the inside to wire it up. The door doesnt have the feature to be propped open either, but I got it installed and it serves it's purpose just fine.

An outdoor box for less than the cost of a 50A socket. Extra depth for the finger pull on some cords. Includes a cheap lock to keep vandals from stealing your charger or extension cord. Enough to keep casual thieves out but easily broken or cut. Box itself is quite sturdy and well made.

Hint: Is not enough room inside to "Bend" the incoming wires (as I would normally do, in order to install/remove the outlet by pulling it forward and out of the box. Instead could only get the outlet installed by running the wires STRAIGHT UP through bottom of box, then into socket... which meas that you'll need to be able to PULL the resulting excess wires back through the mating conduit, as you locate the Outlet Box into place.I installed this box and another brand at same time... The other one was Larger and hence MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to hookup than this one
