I use my iPad 6th gen and this pen to relax playing around a learning how to master procreate. I had a 1st gen Apple Pencil before I had to try Amazon for a more affordable pen. Yes, I was one of those individuals that for other life obligations left the expensive pen without giving it any use or charging it. Then, tried everything to bring it back to life (e.g. hairdryer... and other tricks and tips)... needless to say: Nothing worked, nothing at all. I decided I had to try a cheaper option, less fancy and almost as good as the original pen. I went for this one, based on battery life, looks and reviews. I had very low expectations. But, I was desperate and gave it a go. I am delighted! I am so glad I did! Since I bought it I have been using it regularly (about 3-4 days per week for about 2 hours each day). And it works so well! Honestly, if you cannot afford the original one or don't want to... if you are not a professional and you are just using an average iPad like me... well, you found the right one here. It is perfect for a present too. Easy to use and it really looks good. It's lightweight too. Sometimes you do have to switch it on while using it, but it is not a problem at all. I can't believe I could go back to my hobby spending ⅓ of what I would have spent on the expensive original one. If I had an iPad Pro and a 2nd get pen and was a professional artist, then... yes, sure! it would be an investment. But I am very far from that. I definitely would buy it again. So I was debating buying the gen 2 apple pen but could bring it to spend £120 on a pen. Decided I would get a similar one for less. After reading through the reviews I picked this brand/ type mainly because of the similarities between it and the apple pen. It’s magnetic , connects and works flawlessly and feels just like the real thing. The material is just like it. The only thing is it doesn’t say apple and for it it doesn’t bother me. I currently have the new iPad Air and constantly use it for university and with writing and typing this pen has made it easier. I have yet to charge it it which is a good sign but the instructions say that it does tell you when it needs charging, you could see this as a downside as the original apple pen charges it on the magnetic bar where as you would need to plug this in but for me, it doesn’t matter. It also comes with a replaceable end which is nice plus a cover for when you aren’t using it so it doesn’t wear down. For £30 you really can’t complain considering it does the same thing as the £120 but it’s a real bargain

I have purchased this as a gift but like all gifts, I like to check it is in complete, working order beforehand, so I have checked this over and charged it etc.This is a newer model which gives palm rejection so you don't have to wear a glove to use it. It is a very simple design and it's pretty much plug & play. No need for Bluetooth or anything.The pack comes with an extra nib (you get one in the pen & a fine point nib in the pack) and a Type-C charging cable. To swap the nibs, just unscrew & screw in the new one - no special tools needed. You can use any Type-C cable if you have any others in the house.2 hours of charge gives over 15 hours usage. it lights up red whilst charging & the light goes off once it's fully charged. When you switch it on, the light is white.It's compatible with lots of the newer model 2018+ iPads. I'm sure this will be received well by the recipient.

I love this pencil, works so well on iPad, it’s comfortable, battery lasts a very long time, however, it only comes with one replacement tip and you can’t buy more! The seller told me they don’t make it. So once the second tip had worn out, you need to throw away a pencil that works perfectly and spend money in a new one! It’s wasteful.

The pen (pencil) is excellent! It works perfectly, no lag, and very precise. It looks just like the much more expensive original. It sticks magnetically onto the iPad, and has a simple on off button and indicator light at the top. The pen connects instantly with no need to pair, and works happily on multiple iPads at the same time. The battery life is great, I’ve been using it for a few hours every day, and charged once in the week.It comes complete with a spare tip, and convenient USB charging cable which is a big improvement on the original Apple pencil that has the lighting connecter.This is great value for the money!

I bought this because I couldn't justify the cost of a genuine apple pencil without knowing whether I'd even get on with the concept. This pencil is light, feels just like a normal pencil and I'm really impressed with this, great value for money, charges easily and quickly with great battery life.

The media could not be loaded. This pen is beautiful, palm rejection works a charm and there is no delay when writing. I’m really very satisfied and happy. So simple to use.The only thing is that it doesn’t have the tilt option with the shading or the pressure. So it wouldn’t be great to draw, but perfect for note taking or studying.It sometimes turns off in the middle of using but it’s really rarely and it’s just effortless turning it back on. It pairs automatically in less than a second and lasts really long. I use it at uni to take notes for all my lectures and lasts 3 days 😄
